Duties & Responsibilities
● Monitor the Unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and immediately rectification to a concerned
person.
● Enforce supervisor/ foreman& job in charge to conduct safety toolbox talks (TBM) before they
start the work at least for five to fifteen minutes.
● Monitor the area and enforce the concerned person to maintain good housekeeping at work
place.
● Monitor crane activities and periodically inspection of crane and other heavy equipment to
avoid any undesired event.
● Check and inspect electrical & mechanical tools used by the workers at the job site to ensure
tools are in good condition to avoid any accident while performing the job.
● Monitoring the scaffolding installation at the site to secure that workers comply and following
the standard procedure.
● Monitoring and check that all excavation particularly 4ft deep or more has been properly
barricaded or barriers installed for the protection of the personnel and vehicles.
● Monitor for the worker to ensure that they comply the safety rules and regulation if make a
violation a disciplinary action is taken.
● Attend the weekly safety co-ordination meeting and record minutes of the meeting for
documentation or on file for the safety audit.
● Attend the HSE training conducted by the company.
● Check the oxygen level and other gases through gas tester before starting job in confined space.
● Inspection for unsafe act and unsafe condition in assigned area.
● Coordinate with client Hse department to solve the site safety issues.
