INTRODUCTION

The purpose of our project 'Clean School' is aimed at everyone

student community, to the school store staff, to the teachers
address of the institution, with the aim of promoting the development of habits of
cleaning, which allows them to generate social well-being in the place where they
unfold through playful activities. Thus, they can develop in a
clean school environment, free of dirt, thus allowing for a better environment for
promote the learning and production of useful competencies, skills, and abilities
for academic life, as well as everyday life.

These cleaning habits will help students and teachers to generate a

ecological awareness, which allows them to carry out different actions, such as
garbage collection, recycling, among others, to promote clean areas, which helps
to a great extent and is an important factor in the formation of good environments
learning. The school is the best social weapon for generating knowledge for
create a true awareness of healthy habits.

From the corresponding learning, positive behaviors are generated in the

students. The teacher has the opportunity to influence the way of thinking of the
students and direct their action, with the aim of achieving individual health since
an important segment in the life of the students takes place, where they socialize
their relationships, habits, values, and norms of coexistence are formed. This improvement of
the processes of personality formation and development must be configured in the
context of the relationships that occur in the school, which allows them to understand,
similar and put into practice these habits.

The activities will be carried out in a playful manner, allowing for motivation and the
creativity of the students in the development of the different actions, this with the
purpose of creating and producing cleanliness habits with one of the most preferred methods
by the students, the game.
JUSTIFICATION

The lack of knowledge and awareness about our relationships of

dependency on the environment leads people to act as if they do not
they were part of it. The decision to intervene with this project arose from the need
to promote cleaning habits, as the students of this institution lack
these.

The behavior displayed during recess is that the students leave their trash.
Everywhere, they do not return the dishes from their food, leaving glasses scattered.
gardens; during classes, they throw trash on the floor, and do not make proper use of the
sanitaryware.

The intervention project 'Clean School' that will be implemented in high school
"Pastor Rouaix Méndez" will be implemented in order to generate awareness both in
female students, male students, as well as teachers and school staff, and in this way
foster attitudes or habits that not only serve the institution but transcend it
in daily life.

This project will be carried out during the 2019-2020 A semester, with strategies
creative activities that involve playful activities, such as motivation for the
students, thus aiming to generate an awareness and cleaning habits that
they intend in the project.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Promote and foster an awareness and culture for care and conservation
of the school space, through playful strategies, to encourage
students to participate, creating both in the classrooms and in the rest
from the facilities of the Baccalaureate the cleaning habits that are required.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Apply playful activities such as motivation, reflections for promotion

of cleaning habits both in the classroom and in the schoolyard.

Create in the students of the General High School 'Pastor Rouaix Méndez' a
Awareness for the care and conservation of the school space.

Encourage students to deposit correctly in a playful way.

organic waste and reuse inorganic waste.

Promote campaigns on the collection of recyclable materials (PET)

Involve parents and teachers to participate in these campaigns.

Promote a culture of awareness within the classrooms.

CONTENTS

The content to be addressed with this project will be handled on the

the thematic line of cleaning, for which the following paragraphs will be described
each one of them.

Cleaning habits

We chose this content due to the need to not only generate a change
that it be a short time that only encompasses our instance at school, yes
not that one achieves transcending to a point where students have a consciousness
own in favor of the importance of cleanliness, which helps them to continue with this,
not only in the institution but also in their everyday life.

Students acquire appropriate attitudes and habits regarding cleanliness, so

as well as the environment. Starting in the classrooms, where the advisors of each group
they will have to monitor the cleanliness of the same, a committee of six students will be formed,

who will go to the classrooms to check their cleanliness and rate it from one to
ten, as well as the women's and men's restrooms, and in the ceremony on Mondays, it will be said

which group was the winner.

The formation of this evaluation committee will be the responsibility of the person in charge of

project, Lic. Pedro Guzmán Hernández, and the group leaders of each semester.

Awareness of the importance of keeping the school environment clean

This topic is of utmost importance for this project to generate impact in

In daily life, it is necessary to form both individual and collective consciousness.
about the importance of keeping the school environment clean, which is why it is necessary to
participation of the female and male students, the teachers of the institution, the administration
school store staff.
This will involve not only trying to improve the classroom but also the school, the areas
greens, and the sanitary facilities, for this, the various actions to be carried out that are proposed in

this project, the achievements must be analyzed and evaluated.

Garbage collection

Various points focused on the monitoring of the groups will be worked on in this.
through activities that allow for the creation of a more pleasant working environment
in the classrooms or in the institution in a safe and healthy way.

We consider that a garbage-free environment is one in which garbage is

correctly located, will generate a vital and working environment that will enhance the
quality of the same.

Recycling

Recycling involves obtaining a new raw material or product, through

a physicochemical or mechanical process, based on products and materials already out of use
or used. In this way, we manage to extend the life cycle of a product,
saving materials and benefiting the environment by generating less waste. The
recycling arises not only to eliminate waste but to address exhaustion
of the planet's natural resources.

Recycling process

The recycling process goes through several phases: recycling begins in environments
industrial and domestic, through the separation of materials. The next step
consists of the recovery of these materials by public and private companies and their
subsequent transfer to the transfer plants.
In these plants, large amounts of waste are stored and compacted for their
transport back in large quantities to the recycling plants, called
classifier plants. It is here where an exhaustive separation of the
waste. In these plants, we sometimes find, the recovery plants,
the final recycler, where new materials or products are obtained, are stored the
materials in large landfills, or energy is produced as is the case of the
biogas plants.

Recycling, apart from its complex transformation process, is one of the points
basics of waste treatment strategy 3R.

Reduce: Actions to reduce the production of susceptible objects.

to become waste.

Reuse: Actions that allow the product to be used again to give it a

second life, with the same use or a different one.

Recycling: The set of operations for the collection and treatment of waste that
allow reintroducing them into a life cycle.

How materials are classified according to their composition.

The materials we discard can be classified according to their composition into

organic and inorganic waste:

Organic waste: these are biological origin waste, that once

they were alive or were part of a living being, for example: leaves, branches,
peels, food, and waste from home food production.
Inorganic waste: these are wastes of industrial origin or from some other source.
unnatural process, such as plastics, synthetic fabrics, papers,
cans, etc.

Hazardous waste: it is the waste of biological or industrial origin that

it constitutes a potential danger for living beings and must be treated accordingly.
special. For example, infectious medical materials, radioactive waste,
acids, chemical substances, etc.

How to take advantage of them?

Organic waste: more than half of the garbage we produce daily

They are food scraps. This material can be an important source of high-quality fertilizers.
quality, which we can use as nutrients and fertilizers in our plants and
home gardens. In this way, we not only reduce the amount of waste, but
that helps reduce the use of chemical products that increase pollution.
Everything that we cannot take advantage of must be separated from what can be reused.
They are generally the materials that do not ferment, called inorganic. The majority
they are containers or packaging.

Inorganic waste: a large part of these materials can be recycled and

recover, thus they are re-included in the productive and consumption chain.
this way, energy is saved and fewer raw materials are consumed. All this
contributes to the preservation of environmental quality.

Paper and cardboard: it is paper, it is not garbage. Its recycling saves a lot of energy.
reduce tree cutting and prevent water pollution.
Wrappers and packaging: account for 20% of what we throw away.
Plastics: they make up 9% of the waste. They have a very long lifespan and are a
a big environmental problem, as most do not degrade. In households
We find plastic in many objects. The future is the recycling of this.
residue.
Glass: returnable containers can be reused and, at the same time, glass
can recover.
Textiles.
Scrap: accounts for 3% of household waste. We are talking about steel cans.
and aluminum, which pose an environmental harm due to their long time of
degradation. Its recycling reduces manufacturing costs.
Hazardous products: cleaning products, paint residues,
medications and batteries are highly toxic. These products need a
specific collection campaign to prevent water pollution and
floors.

Garbage collection

It is the activity of collecting the solid waste generated, so that they can be
transported to the final disposal site, the transfer station or to a plant
processing. Recycling containers: in addition to separating waste according to
for their classification, we must deposit them in the recycling bins
corresponding, so that when they arrive at the recycling plant they can be
processed correctly. These are identified by their color and each color represents
a type of material. Below is a visual guide that is very
practice to avoid confusion, for this we will use the trash bins that are
they were carried out last semester with recycled material.

Habit

According to the Royal Spanish Academy, a habit is a special way of

to proceed or conduct oneself, acquired by repetition of the same or similar acts, or
organized by trends.

Habits are acquired by repeating them and it is important that they are reinforced in the

students of the General Baccalaureate 'Pastor Rouaix Méndez'

School is the place where adolescents spend a large part of

day. If they develop hygiene habits regarding school, it is likely that these will
generalize to the other areas of their environment. For this to happen, it must be the
school the first to meet minimum conditions that create a healthy environment.

Public hygiene

Public hygiene refers to the practices and methods of cleanliness and

cleaning of public or common spaces, for which they are responsible
authorities.

ECOLOGICAL AWARENESS

Having ecological awareness is to understand that we are dependent on nature and

responsible for its conservation status.
Knowledge that human beings have of themselves and of their surroundings affects
and conditions, especially the circumstances in people's lives or of the
society as a whole.

STRATEGIES:

Campaigns that are responsible for raising awareness among students.

Recover green spaces.
Identify to which class the waste belongs.
Raise awareness of the environmental influence.

Take care of nature.

Work values.
Save resources.
STOP USING PLATES, CUPS, FORKS, AND SPOONS
DISPOSABLES, BOTH FEMALE STUDENTS, MALE STUDENTS, AND TEACHERS.

Collaborative work

In the definition presented by Cabero and Márquez, it is said that the work
Collaborative is a teaching-learning strategy in which they are organized
small work groups; in which each member has common goals that
they have been previously established and on which the work will be carried out.

It is of utmost importance to create a 'community' that will seek to achieve the goals that
they have in common. The group must generate processes of reconstruction of
knowledge, this refers to the fact that each individual learns more than they would learn.
on its own, due to the interaction of the team members.

Members of each group will be able to recognize their skills and likewise
its differences, so communication must be created, achieving to listen and attend
each individual's point of view, this is how knowledge can be acquired and
apply it in the development of the projects proposed in that working group.

Methodological strategies

Environmental Education (EE) is the fundamental tool for everyone to ...

people become aware of their environment and are able to make changes in their
values, behaviors and lifestyles, as well as expanding their knowledge to promote
the processes of prevention and resolution of existing environmental problems
futures. It is crucial to promote values and habits to achieve an environment
in balance.

The objectives of EA are implicit in the environmental proposals:

a) Achieve that social actors individually or collectively understand the

complex nature of the natural environment, as well as that created by the
man, which is the result of the interaction of its biological aspects,
physical, social, economic, and cultural.
b) Acquire values, behavior, cultural change, behaviors and
practical skills to prevent and solve environmental problems.
(González, 1994)

Castillo, M. (2008) comments that information regarding should be sought.

environmental problems and their solutions, as they result in a change of
responsibility towards the environment. It is necessary to acquire instrumental skills that
allow to care for the environment in a systematic and effective manner. Put into practice the

skills incline him more strongly to want to take care of the environment with the aim of
to conserve it and protect it.

Recycling or the act of recycling is of utmost importance for society as it

it involves the reuse of elements and objects of different types that otherwise
they would be discarded, contributing to the formation of more waste and, ultimately
instance, continuously harming the planet. Recycling is directly linked
with ecology and the concept of sustainability that assumes that the human being
it must be able to take advantage of the resources that the planet and nature provide, but without
to abuse them without causing significant damage to the natural environment.

Recycling is a very important part of the complex notion of conservation.

environmental since it is from it that one can contribute to limiting pollution and,
in addition, to continuously reuse the different resources. When we talk about
recycling or recycling refers then to an act by which a
an object that has already been used is taken through a process of renewal instead of being
discarded. Experts in the field believe that almost all elements that
they surround us can be recycled or reused in different situations, although
some of them, due to being extremely disposable or toxic, cannot
to be saved.

The importance of recycling lies in the fact that the more elements or...
objects are recycled, less material will be discarded and therefore the planet and the
the environment will suffer less from the permanent and disorganized growth of the
human garbage.

To carry out effective awareness-raising, the following activity has been proposed:

Undoing and Doing: a competition in which students will participate

A useful object, made with reusable material. It will be done at home and everyone will participate.

Also, during the time of formation to proceed to the halls,

they will provide brief advice, recommendations, and information for students
listen to the importance of keeping the school clean.
Each group will be assigned a green area, and it will be the responsibility of each group.
And advisor, this school year it is planned to carry out two cleanups of the green areas,
one will take place on October 11, 2019, and another on January 10, 2020. The
the activity will aim to clean the green areas, plant fruit trees and
ornament, whitewash trees, water and trim the grass, and clean the common areas, direction,
warehouses and sanitary facilities.

Temporality

The present intervention project has been a planned work based on a

diagnosis, the foundations for the execution were established, as well as the duration of the
activities chosen to intervene within the baccalaureate. The person in charge of the project
it will be Lic. Pedro Guzmán Hernández, who will report the progress of the activities to
the superior authority of the school, Teacher Libia Julieta Arvizu Robles, in addition to
to count on the participation of the institution's teachers and store personnel
