Referencing in MLA format

What MLA formatting looks like?


 Everything is double spacing.
 Starts with your name, your teacher’s name, date.
 Title should be placed in the centre.

How in-text citations looks like?


 At the end of every sentence to show the source of the information.

Referencing in MLA style

ATTIPP DU– Author name, Title of article, Title of journal, Issue, Publisher
name& year of publication, page, name of database, url

- For a book
 [Author’s last name, first name. Title. Publisher name, data]

- For a journal
 Author’s last name, first name. “Title of Article.” Title of Journal, vol. #,
Issue no., year of publication, pp #. Name of database, DOI or URL.
 E.g Mattarita-Cascante, David. “Beyond Growth: Researching Tourism-led
Development.” Annals of Tourism Research, 37.4 (2010): 1141-1162.
Print

- For a website
 Author’s last name, first name/alias. “Title of Article.”
Name/title of website/publisher. Version numbers/date, URL. Accessed
date.
 E.g Bhattacharjee, Suman. “ A Guide To Solve Pedigree Problems.”
Shamu’s biology. N.p., 2018, Web url. Accessed: 5 Sept 2018.

In your citations, make sure you would have mentioned about the followings:
1. Author’s first name and last name
2. Titile of the article.
3. Name of the website
4. Sponsoring organisation or publisher
5. Date published or last updated
6. Medium of source
7. Date you accessed the website.
