DANAO
Donna Belle M. Intad
( A Jabonga lake view from our veranda)
Dazzled to a night view worth to stare,
So simple and usual, yet so fair,
Captivated to the majestic procession,
Calmed my worries and forlorn.
Array of stars painstakingly dancing in the water
Like an inverted palatial sky, the lights shower
Were the bright light from the fishermen’s boat
They twinkled in the dark as they gracefully float.
Nostalgic feeling of mine started to fade
As the aroma of its perfumed cold breeze
Awaken my tired and sleepy senses
and found myself waltzing in the music of silence.
Awesome joy overwhelmed my spirit
When sun peeps and spark its light.
The blooming lilies started their naïve parades
Surfing in the carefree little waves.
Oh! What a beautiful real masterpiece
Money can’t buy for it is priceless.
Only art of nature has beauty beyond compare
For it is perfectly sketched by the Master Painter
