Dashboard
After logging in, you shall see the dashboard tab on top of your screen. The
Dashboard gives a comprehensive overview of all your vehicles at one place. It
includes the last received Speed, Address, Engine on/ off status and the strength
of the GPS & GSM signals.

Vehicle Positions
On the left pane you will see the Map Interface which will show the live position of
your vehicle, along with their corresponding speeds & their direction of movement.
Vehicle icons on the map correspond to those in the list. If vehicles are moving,
their direction is shown with an arrow inside the icon. A circle is shown if the
vehicle is stationary. Blue vehicle icons represent vehicles with active GPS and
GPRS signals. When GPS and/or GPRS are disconnected, the displayed vehicle
data may be out-dated. These vehicles are shown as dark red icons with a
corresponding warning message.

Vehicle Search
On the right pane you have the search feature to search for vehicles (In case you
have more than one vehicle registered on this account). You can filter vehicles by
name, registration number, tags or combine them using the same search terms.
Details
Please click on Details (next to the vehicle name) in Vehicle search bar and you
shall see the following screen.
To see more details about a specific vehicle, click its icon on the map or click the
Details Button(next to the vehicle name) in the vehicle list located in the right
pane. You shall be able to see basic vehicle data like Speed, Engine On/Off, GPS
and GPRS signals along with their last valid reporting time.

Tracking
Click the Track Button to track the progress of a selected vehicle. The Vehicle icon
will remain centered and enlarged on the map during the course of the vehicle’s
movement.
Tags
Click Add Tag to add tags to the vehicle or click on the tag to remove it. You can
search and display vehicles with matching tags. A tag can be any piece of
information you may wish to add along with the vehicle.
Options
Click the Options Button to create reports or view Tachograph data for a selected
vehicle.
Tachograph Data
Tachograph Data lets you see where your vehicles have been over a specified
date and time range. You can also view their speeds, engine start times etc. By
default, Tachograph Data are shown for the last 7 days.
Vehicle positions are shown on the map as arrows. Vehicle speed is displayed in
the graph below the map
To change the displayed time period, enter a start or end time value in the Input
Boxes above the graph. The maximum time span is 7 days. To display a new
vehicle, click on the Vehicle Button above the graph and choose a one from the
list. After selecting Tachograph data from options, you shall get the following
screen with a Tachograph showing Time Vs. Speed etc. Also Historical Route
Replay will be visible in a different colour on the map. Historical Route Replay is a
feature which helps you to see your vehicles’ movement in the past.

Click on the position arrow to view a vehicles’ speed and time at that location.
Click on the vehicle graph to view a vehicle’s corresponding location on the map.

Geo-Fence & My Places
A Geo-fence is a feature which allows you to mark areas on the map and give
them custom names for easy reference. You can create/edit/delete a Geo-Fence
(“My Areas”) on the Map by selecting the last option from tools from the top left
pane in the Map tab.
In the map tab, a show toolbar is present in the middle of the screen. Click on
Select for Geo-Fence
Select for My Places
show my areas (fourth option in the show toolbar) to make Geo-fences visible on
the map. Click on it again to make Geo-fences disappear. You may see Geo
Fences and Vehicle locations on the map at the same time.
Similar to Geo-fences, you can mark “My Places” on the Map and name them. The
primary difference between My Places and My Areas is that My Places are circular
and My Areas can take any shape. Also, My Place allows you to colour code and
put more information there along with being displayed on the map.

Reports
Fleet provides precise and detailed reports telling you where your vehicles have
been, the amount of time they’ve spent at a specific location, over speeding
information, average speed etc. To create a report, open the Reports Tab and
select from the parameters displayed in the pane header – Report Type, Vehicle
and Time Span.
The predefined report time period is the last 24 hours. You can easily change the
start and end time values in the Date Input Boxes. There is no maximum time
period limit, but it could take more time to generate reports for time periods over a
few months.
If you’ve created custom “My Places” that describe, for instance, your son’s school
or your vehicle service garage, you’ll probably want to check if your vehicles have
been to those locations. To do so, just check the Show My Places Box and the
affected My Place will be displayed next to the vehicle’s departure or arrival
address.

Click the Print Button to print or Save as XLS to save a generated report.

Alarms
Fleet provides a series of alarm types that notify you via SMS/ Email/ Web as
soon as a violation like speeding occurs. Alarms can be created and viewed in the
table in the Alarms Tab.
To create new alarm, click the New Alarm Button. The drop-down menu will allow
you to select an alarm type and enter the alarm parameters.

To assign an alarm to one or more vehicles or vehicle groups, click the Add New
Fleet Button and select your parameters from the drop down list. Click Add New
Action to select the notification type – SMS text message and/or e-mail and enter
a mobile phone number and/or e-mail address.
You have the option to set any of the following alarms
• Over-speeding : Alerts when a vehicle is crosses beyond a fixed speed limit set
byyou
• My Area Entry/ Exit : Alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves an area created by
you
• My Place Entry/ Exit : Alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves a place created by
you
• Engine on / off : Alerts when engine is switched off or on
• Automatic alerts for location of vehicle after particular time interval : Sends last
location of the vehicle
• No GPS Signal : Alerts when the GPS Signal of the device goes down
• No GPRS Signal : Alerts when the GPRS Signal of the device goes down
• Vehicle Entering/ Leaving Route : Alerts when a vehicle deviates or enters a
created route
• Vehicle Idling : Alerts when a vehicle is standing at a location for a prefixed
time. This time can be customized by you

Tracking through SMS
Fleet allows you to check the Current Location of your vehicle at any time. In order
to use this feature you need to SMS “find (last digits of your vehicle number)”
(without quotes) to 56161. Eg. If your vehicle number is DL 3C BC 6789, SMS find
6789 to 56161 to know the current location of the vehicle.
*Kindly add your number to the authorized GSM number in your account settings
(The settings option available at the top right corner in MMI Fleet Application.
Kindly go to Settings and then click on SMS. Please prefix your number with 91)

Alarm Log
You can also see all the alarms which are generated on the Portal. To view and
analyze a generated alarm, select the Alarm Log Tab. All of the generated alarms
from the beginning of the current year are listed in the Alarm Log Table.
You can change the start or end of a given time period. To filter alarms by type,
click the Alarms Button and choose Alarm Types from the drop-down list. To filter
by vehicles or group of vehicles, click the Vehicles Button and choose from the
drop-down list.

Schedule Reports
You can receive reports automatically to your mailbox daily, weekly and monthly.
To avail this functionality go to the reports tab on the top of your screen. After that
go to schedules. Click on New Report to add a new report. After that select and
input the relevant parameters. When the scheduling is done, you shall be able to
see the scheduled report in the schedules tab.

Mobile Website
Fleet can also be accessed from your Smartphone. In order to use this
functionality open your mobile Browser and log on to fleet.mapmyindia.com. You
will get the following Login screen. Kindly input your login details.
