this post.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
TA/DA is NOT ADMISSIBLE
1. This call letter with the Roll No. mentioned overleaf is your ADMIT CARD for the written
examination.
2. Producing of the print out of this call letter to the examination hall is mandatory.
3. Every candidate is allowed to bring to the examination hall the following-
(a) Any photo ID Card (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence)
(b) Black ball point pen for answering questions.
(c) Two identical coloured photographs of Candidate.
(d) If your photograph is not shown in this Admit Card paste one copy of your photograph on
the space provided in the Admit Card.
(e) Plastic cards like credit/debit card.
4. Any book, paper, mobile phone, Pager, Calculator or any electronic gadget or objectionable
materials are prohibited items and are not allowed in the examination hall. Further, there will be
no provision for deposit of above items etc. Candidates are directed not to bring any prohibited
items with him/her. Violation will lead to disqualification and attract legal action.
5. In order to avoid late arrival, reach the Examination Centre 1(one) hour before the
Examination starts.
6. No candidate shall be allowed to enter into the Examination Hall after 15 minutes of beginning
of the examination.
7. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall during the examination hours
unless permitted to do so by the Invigilator.
8. Any candidate found using unfair means or violating any of the examination rules, shall be
disqualified and expelled. Action will be taken against such candidates as per appropriate norms/
Rules/Acts.
9. An OMR Answer sheet and Question Booklet will be provided to the candidate before
commencement of the examination. The candidate shall have to fill up the particulars carefully.
10. If the OMR Answer sheet/Question Booklet received is found to be torn/damaged/misprinted,
the candidate has to report to the invigilator within 5 minutes of the receipt.
11. Only one circle/bubble is to be darkened completely for each answer on the OMR Answer
sheet. Darkening of more than one circles will be considered as wrong answer and no marks will
be awarded.
12. No stray marks, rough works or damage should be done on/to the OMR Answer sheet.
13. Frisking of candidates will be done at the entrance of the examination hall by authorised
security personnel.
14. The Candidates are allowed to take their own Used Question Booklets after completion of the
Examination.
Please note that:
(i) Total Marks of Written Test: 100
(ii) Duration of Examination: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
(iii) Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
(iv) No. of Questions: 50 (2 Marks for each question. No Negative Marking).
(v) Questions shall be on General Knowledge, English, Science and Mathematics of upto Class X
standard.
(1) Candidate who does not have the minimum educational qualification and whose age is not
within the prescribed limit as mentioned in the Advertisements need not appear in the
examination. The candidature of such candidate who appears in the examination shall be
rejected at any point of time after detection of his/her ineligibility.
(2) It is the responsibility of the applicant to furnish all information correctly. Any information
given by the applicant if found to be false or any ineligibility criteria detected at any stage later on
shall make him/her disqualified from the written examination with all its associated
consequences.
(3) Read the instructions for PwD candidates published in the official website
www.dme.assam.gov.in for PwD candidates who want to get help of a scribe.
