[Opening BGM – fade in, then fade out]
J (News Anchor):
Tuesday again, and it’s terrifying traffic once more that motorists and passengers faced on
EDSA. There are some roads that could be alternative routes, but some of them are congested
too.
From Cubao, Quezon City — Vannah Sinempalan is going live.
[Cue BGM – transition sound]
V (Reporter):
It was pure agony for some motorists, especially commuters, due to the intense traffic they
experienced today, particularly this morning. As a result, many were forced to walk along EDSA
to get to work.
EDSA turned into a parking lot again this morning. According to the Highway Patrol Group,
traffic started piling up from Quezon Avenue to Makati around 9 am, forcing some passengers to
walk.
[BGM – light underscore]
N (Interviewee):
It’s so hard, ma’am, because it’s almost not moving anymore, all the way to Farmers. I’m already
running late for work, I only have 5 minutes left to get to work.
V (Reporter):
What time did you leave earlier?
N (Interviewee):
I left at 9:20 am, and then I started walking from Farmers at 10 am.
[BGM – transition sound]
V (Reporter):
Jewel, compared to the situation this morning, the road situation is better now, but the MMDA
said that traffic will get worse as the ber months approach. So, their advice to motorists and
commuters is to bring extra patience. Jewel.
J (News Anchor):
Thank you, Vannah, for informing us about the terrifying traffic going on there on EDSA.
Up next, the current situation of Camp Tinio National High School after the 6.5 magnitude
earthquake. Stay tuned for more updates.
