Poster Presentation for Postgraduates
Abstract Submission
• Word Count: Abstracts must be 300 words or less.
• Content:
o Original Research abstracts need four sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, and
Conclusion.
o Case Reports/Series abstracts need four sections: Introduction, Case Summary and
Discussion.
• Submission Link: Use the electronic submission form at
https://tinyurl.com/abstractpsyupdate (Any delegate can submit the poster but only
postgraduates with a bonafide certificate from their HOD will be considered for awards)
• Deadline: 30th September 2025
• The authors of selected abstracts will be notified by email.
Poster Format & Design for Selected Abstracts
• File Type: Submit a single-page PDF with a maximum size of 20 MB.
• Dimensions: Design the poster in landscape mode with a screen size of 21 inches high x 37.5
inches wide.
• Headings:
o Original Research posters should include: Title (Authors with institutional affiliations),
Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References, and
Acknowledgements (if applicable).
o Case Reports/Series posters should include: Introduction, Case Summary, and
Discussion.
o Referencing: Follow the Vancouver referencing style.
• Submission Link: Use the electronic submission form at

postgraduates with a bonafide certificate from their HOD will be considered for awards)
Awards & Recognition
• A team of experts will select three case reports/case series and three original research for
presentation and awards. The presenters of the selected posters will be notified by email.
• All accepted abstracts will receive a poster presentation certificate.
• All posters will be displayed digitally during the CME.

Postgraduate Quiz (Topic: Suicide)


• Eligibility: Registered postgraduates (MD/DPM/DNB Psychiatry, M.Phil Psychiatric Social
Work, M.Phil Clinical Psychology).
• Prelims: 4PM, 11th October 2025 at the venue in a written format (MCQs and Fill in the blanks).
The top 10 scorers (5 medical and 5 non-medical) will be randomly paired into five two-person
teams. The teams will be notified by 7 PM.
• Finals: 8AM, 12th October 2025 at the venue.
• Prizes: The top three teams will receive prizes.
