General guidelines for Internship Report:

Page – iv Internship certificate (from company)
Page - v Acknowledgement (thank your guides first, principal, HOD, teachers and friends,
persons helped in completing project / supplying raw materials and equipment, testing facilities
and family)

Page- vii Table of Contents (Including certificate onwards)
Page – viii List of figures and tables
Page -1 Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION
For internship reports, A brief write up about company, its products and
services, your role in company and detail of project handled with problem statement objectives
and outcomes.
Chapter 2 TOOLS & TECHNIQUES USED
Detailed literature survey based on the reputed journals, patents, books and
website. Short note on about referred journals and others in chapter – 2.
Chapter 3 WORK AND ANALYSIS (Give suitable names as per choice, give additional
chapter if needed)
For internship reports. Write up of actual work carried out, action plan, work
instruction sheet, procedures, area of training/project carried out with detailed explanation using
the data collected during training, etc.
Chapter 4 RESULTS AND DISCUSSION (Give suitable name as per choice, give additional
chapter if needed)
Details of experimental/test/simulation outcome with necessary graph/micrograph
with proper interpretation and discussion of results.
Chapter 5 CONCLUSION
Conclusions of your internship.

Guidelines for preparation of Report

1. Report should have at least 25 pages.


2. The entire pages of the report should be in A4 size strictly, with 1” top and bottom margin and
1.25” left and right margin.
3. The entire report should be typed in Times New Roman with 12 pt.
4. The title and main headings of the paragraphs are to be in bold.
5. Report may be divided into the number of chapters as required, with chapter number assigned
on the top left corner and chapter name immediately below it (with single line spacing) using
Times New Roman 16 pt bold.
6. Each main paragraph or heading should be numbered with a whole number. (e.g1)
7. Numbering of each page should be done in the footer section at the bottom right corner.
8. List of Contents in the report:
9. Numbering of each figure and table should be done according to the chapter number.

ABSTRACT

Robotic Automation Systems employs 6-axis robots, also known as articulated


robots, in flexible automation on both horizontal and vertical plastic injection molding
machines for increased flexibility in upstream and downstream operations, utilization of a
larger working envelope, and to address floor space or ceiling height constraints.
