Login
Once downloaded, Crew will be requested to enter the
necessary details in order to register the device with their
personal account.
For convenience purposes, the eCrew URLs are stored
on the app, hence there is no need to fill in the eCrew
URL.
Required info:

This info will be submitted once.
NOTE:
Upon login, the device will be registered on Apple or
Google and this will engage the push notification and
auto login features.

Configuration
There is no need for additional settings to be made by the AIMS Administrator through the eCrew
Configuration screen (AIMS 4.11.1 option).
Notifications
The Notifications board is a feature that provides an
overview of alerts and information about the crew’s details
(i.e. training records etc.) and/or schedule (i.e. Schedule
changes, bidding periods open etc.).
If notifications apply, the board will appear every time crew
access the app, but this functionality can be disengaged by
selecting the “Do not show this screen again” option.
In the event where important notifications apply, this
selection will be overridden and the message will appear
regardless (i.e. in cases where crew must check schedule
changes or discretion report and must acknowledge
messages).

Crew Mail
The 4th option of the tab bar is the Crew mail where the crew can communicate with the Crewing
Departments (the recipient list is subject to the settings).

Fit/Unfit for Duty
Some airlines allow Crew to report ‘Unfit’ or ‘Fit’ for a duty period through eCrew. Access the
eCrew menu > Fit/Unfit for Duty and select the respective option (i.e. Fit or Unfit).

PreCheck In
In the “Crew Check-In General Settings” (AIMS 4.5.15 option) | Check-in Advanced Notice tab,
there is a provision to indicate how far in advance a crewmember must confirm PreCheck-in.
The Crew have a window of 24 hours prior the STD of the first leg of the pairing assigned on their
schedule up until the time defined in the related field (option 4.5.15). Otherwise the crew will be
considered “LATE” by the system.
The Crew can define themselves as PreChecked-in via the eCrew app by accessing the eCrew
Menu (more button) and tapping on the “PreCheck in” button accordingly.

Check In
(only available with the Advanced Crew Check in/out add on module)
Once crew log into the app through the designated IPs,
they will be able to check in either by tapping the Next
Duty Countdown widget or via the Check In option
through the eCrew Menu.
The Check In process will automatically commence and
the related duty information will be displayed including:
Duty details. Tap on the tile to check Flight details,
A/C Type, A/C Registration, Departure Stand,
Passengers number) and/or swipe left to check
totals of block, duty time etc.

Validity of Expiry dates

The Check-In process will be completed once the crew

Note: In addition to the validity of the Expiry Codes, the

settings of AIMS 4.11.1 option eCrew Configuration).
When the crew will be checked in, they will be able to
download and print the available pre-defined reports (i.e.
Crew Briefing Report, Crew Dispatch Report, Personal
Crew Schedule, Journey Log, Flight Plan etc.)
The reports will be available to the crewmember even
after the check-in process.

Late Reasons
The eCrew app respects the settings of “Late
Reasons” as well.
When crew access the eCrew app and intend to
check-in whilst being late for their duty, the system will
require a pre-defined late reason to be selected along
with a free text late reason to be inserted by the crew
members (min 10 characters).

Check Out
Depending on the airline’s Settings in eCrew
Configuration (option 4.11.1) | “Options released to the
Crew” tab, the crew can check-out from their duty either
by logging in through the designated IPs or from their
Home/Hotel.
The Check-Out can be performed by accessing the
Menu of the eCrew app and by tapping on the Check
Out button.
During the Check-Out process, crew will also be
advised about the Next Duty, Validity of the Expiry
dates, Crew Mail etc.
Check Out Report
Once the Check Out is completed and in the event of a
Discretion Duty, the crew will be able to download the
related report by tapping on the “Discretion Report”
button.
The report will be available to the crewmember even
after the check-out process.

Schedule Bidding and Request
Day Off Requests
This option allows crew to enter a request for a ‘Day(s) Off’ starting on the first day after the
published date and forward…, up to a year in advance.
Note: The requests made here are only requests and are not considered approved until
confirmed by the Crewing Department.
My Day Off Requests Overview of my Group’s Request

Tap on a tile to check more details like Last Done, Base
and/or Grace Month if applied and Next Planned (if any).
Training History
Check the training history within a period of 3 years back with
the most recent training undertaken displayed first.
Filters are helpful for a more targeted inquiry.
Ability to search for a specific training event within the list.

Journey Log Entry
For airlines with the Pilot-Entered Journey Log add-on module, the crew can easily access JL app
via the eCrew menu.

My Airline’s Network
Airport Information
Access the option to check details (i.e. UTC times, memo, airport agents, hotels) of an airport
stored on the Airport Database. Under each airport, a list of all recoded Hotels, Airport agents and
Transport companies will be displayed.
The agent type available to eCrew is controlled via the eCrew Configuration screen | eCrew app
tab.
Airport List Airport Details
The airport list is in alphabetical order. Crew’s Tap on an agent tile or hotel to check the
base is always on top of the list. details.
