Success

The document discusses success and what leads to it. It analyzes a group of 100 average 25-year-olds over 40 years and finds that only 5 achieved complete success. It argues that success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal, and that having a goal, plan to achieve it, and following the plan daily is necessary for success. Most people want money without understanding that success must come first from providing valuable services, and that money follows as a result rather than a cause of success.

SUCCESS

STATISTICS A group of one hundred average 25-year-olds was studied: They all had the same elements to be successful. They all had a great desire to be triumphant in life. They all had the same faith in the future for them and their families. They were all sure that they would reach success sooner or later.

reached complete success were partially successful were total failures and live off others still dont know what they want and they still havent set an objective in life

Lets analyze the same people 40 years later: In which of these groups would you rather be? Only five out of one hundred reached their goal. Why did so many people failed? Where did they lose their hope, their dreams and their illusions? Why was there this big difference between winners and losers produced throughout these years? Between successful people and mediocre people? Why is there this big difference between the success of one person and the failure of another? The big difference is that some people know what success is and how to achieve it and others dont.

BUT WHAT IS SUCCESS? Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal. If a person knows what his goal is and the path to follow to achieve it, that person is a successful person.

SUCCESS
However, if he does not know where he is going, he is a failure. To be successful you have to set a goal for yourself, establish the path to follow so you can reach it, and follow this path daily with enthusiasm and without dismay until you reach your goal. Most people want to make money without understanding the laws of nature. The only people who make money are those who print it, the government mint, because if you or I begin to make money we will be put in jail as forgers. The rest of us have to earn it and the only way to earn it is by providing necessary and useful services or products. We exchange our products and services for money with people who buy them from us. Therefore, it is invariably true by the law of nature that our assets are in direct proportion with the quality of the service that we give. Success isnt the result of making money. Money is a result of success and our success is in direct proportion with the quality of the service that we give. Many people distort the law and think that if they have money they will have success. The truth is that one can begin to earn money when he has become a successful person. Its like the man who stood in front of the fireplace and said Give me heat and then Ill provide you with firewood. We can find millions of people like this, they represent 98% of the population.

HOW TO REACH SUCCESS? First we have to provide the fireplace with wood, before we begin to receive heat, just as we have to give an excellent service before we begin receiving money. Dont worry about money, it will come and it will come as a consequence of doing each one of our activities excellently: what we are saying is that we have to do our activities appropriately and with a lot of enthusiasm. To achieve total happiness we have to satisfy three needs: professional, spiritual and familial. Only success in every area will lead to total happiness.

To sum this up, the steps to achieving success are: 1. 2. 3. 4. Setting a worthy goal. Making a precise plan of what to accomplish. Making a daily, weekly, or monthly detailed program of your activities. Having the discipline, the consistency, and the courage to work towards your goal day after day.
