(SWEETY GYAN)

ENGLISH LANGUAGE
CLASS-V

Q) What is a simile?
A) Many times we compare two things which are like
each other in some respect. For example, when a person
runs fast we can say: He is as quick as the wind. Here
the person is different from the wind, but both of them
are like each other in one way. They move fast. The
group of words as quick as the wind is a simile.
