This is the technique ZeroPC uses to identify available local applications. If you click Deny your ZeroPC will function properly. You simply will not have access to any local applications.
ZeroPC checks for a wide variety of local applications on Windows and Mac platforms. When appropriate ZeroPC will always attempt to launch an available local application to provide the best user experience possible. For example, if you double-click an Office document (.doc or .docx) file then, if it is available, ZeroPC will automatically launch the local copy of Microsoft Word and open the selected file. You may edit the file and when you click save then ZeroPC automatically saves the edited content back to your ZeroPC storage. Its all completely seamless to you as a user.
