The Impact That Color Has On Human Psychology: By: Aliposa, Princess Joy Belbes, Jonas Zafe, Emily Rose

The document discusses the impact of color on human psychology. It notes that while color perceptions are subjective, some color effects are universal. Colors also have different meanings across cultures. The document argues that while colors can impact mood and performance, the influence on real-world behavior is not that powerful, as evidenced by only temporary mood alterations from color and other factors like quality and price influencing purchases more than color alone. Colors are best at conveying information and moods rather than dictating decisions when focus is present.

The Impact That Color Has On

Human Psychology

By:
Aliposa, Princess Joy
Belbes, Jonas
Zafe, Emily Rose
 Colors can affect moods, feelings, and emotions
Our feelings about color are often deeply personal and rooted
in our own experience or culture.

 While perceptions of color are somewhat subjective,

there are some color effects that have universal
meaning

 Colors also have different meanings in different

cultures

 Most psychologists view color therapy with skepticism

and point out that the supposed effects of color are often
grossly exaggerated
How powerful is the influence of colors on real-
world behavior?

 We agree that colors can have an impact on performance of a

person but not that powerful to influence our human behavior and
decisions

Evidences:
 Research has demonstrated in many cases that the mood-altering
effects of color may only be temporary
 Colors are thought to influence our buying choices, but not all
customers will convince to buy the product even though it is
accompanied with their favorite colors unless the quality and price
are met on those products.
Also, we believed that in terms of decision-making, not all colors that
surround the environment can trigger the emotional aspect of a person
as long as they are focused on what they need to achieve.

Colors can play an important role in conveying

information, creating certain moods, and even influencing
the decisions people make. Color preferences also exert an
influence on the objects people choose to purchase, the
clothes they wear, and the way they adorn their
environments. But they are not that powerful to influence
our human behavior and decisions.
