Introduction
 Wireless Home Automation System is an integrated,
easy-to use home automation System that can be fully
operated based on speech commands.
 It helps to one to control House hold appliances from
a CPU
 It is the system that can be integrated single portable
device for controlling House hold appliances such as
Lighting, Fans , AC. TV, Security camera etc.

Types of a home automation control system

 PC- based system: Requries a PC to be running at all times.

Dedicated PC
shared PC
 Standalone system: Runs without a PC althougts may use a PC
for programming.
 Hybrid system: Runs without a Pc ,but uses Pc to add more
function.

Voice Recognition concept
 The way of the concept function is when user speaks out some
commands , then the voice is captured through microphone as the
input devices.
 Once the voice is captured, the usage of a decoding system that will
convert the analog (voice) to digital (binary signal).
 Later, the input voice is compared with the data stored in the memory
early before the testing.
 The output of the comparison is the voice matched with any of the
commands trained and certain signal is produces as the input for the
controlling system.
Devices
Bluetooth Technology
 Super simple and easy way to interfacing using
Bluetooth.
 3.3 V Device with standard 5v DC power source.
 Can also support SPI protocol , pins are made
available.
 Low power consumption , Low cost
 Has High performance wireless transceiver system can
be used to interface with PC , Mac or Android phone.
ZigBee Technology
 ZiBee uses small packets compared with wifi and
Bluetooth.
 ZigBee can automatically established its network.
 Supports up to 65,000 nodes connected in a network.
 It can supports star, tree , and mesh topology .
 Range of zigBee is above 1-75 meters.
 Battery life is 100- 7,000 days.
Application
 The application are limited only by your imagination.

 Turning lights Down/off .

 Operating outside lights.

 Turning lights or radio on/off someone approches the house .

 Operating television ,hot water heater , toster etc.

 Optimizing use of low cost electricity.

 Working with intelligent electrical goods e.g. wasching machine

conclusion
 The main aim of project was to design a system in a such way that it can yield
maximum output with minimum complexity an this home automation system
successfully delivered it.

 Voice control Home Appliances has many application including device


controlling inside home as well as in industry . One of the main purpose of this
technique is to reduce the human efforts. User don’t have to get up from his
place to control this device.

 So basically we are going to control home applicanes with voice commands.


This projects very useful for disabled people and senior citizen and even people
who are injured and can not walk or move.
