The document outlines several aspects of research ethics, including treating animals and humans ethically in biological research, protecting data and personal information, ensuring safety of personnel and minimizing environmental impact. It also discusses acknowledging prior work to avoid plagiarism, being truthful in data presentation, ensuring accuracy of measurements and accounting for errors. Additional topics covered include patent infringement, safety considerations, and ensuring research results can be repeated. The document provides examples and concludes that ethics in research helps ensure work does not harm people or the environment and avoids legal issues while improving

research.
Treating and handling animals.
Using humans.
Data and personal information protection
Effect on environment
Safety of personnel involved

Acknowledging earlier researchers/ plagiarism
Truthfulness in data presentation
Accuracy of measurements and Budgeting error.

They should be repeatable by any body.
The strange case of Dr. Jakiel and Mr. Hyde
The journal of irreproducible results.
Patent infringement
Use of technology/ circuit / procedure patented
should be done with written permission.
Patent infringement can be a legal issue
May even invalidate your invention or work
Example of patent infringement
