Drone Regulations for Indian Users

1) Regulations in India require drone operators to obtain certain approvals before flying drones, including an Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permit (UAOP) and Unique Identification Number (UIN) from the Digital Sky Platform. 2) Operators must follow restrictions on maximum altitude (400 feet), proximity to airports and borders, and population-dense areas. Permission is needed to fly over groups of people. 3) Wedding photographers using drones below 200 feet do not need a UAOP but must obtain a UIN and inform local police 24 hours prior to operations, following all safety guidelines and respecting privacy.
