Homework Strategies
Macbeth
• Give all pupils a copy of the knowledge organiser on the following slides. (Information taken from PT knowledge check and Eduqas
knowledge organiser.)

• Each week, assign a section of the KO for pupils to revise from. Allocate a section that is linked to the coverage so far
or just beyond.

• Pupils revise the section and produce some revision materials such as – flashcards or thinking map.

• Knowledge can be tested in the lesson that the homework is due in. Your connection task could be a recall activity
based around the section assigned – this can be a quiz or a jigsaw/hexagon activity .

• As the weeks progress make your recall activities include questions on previous weeks to test longer term knowledge.
