introduction
Individual with low level of literacy are more likely to experience poorer
employment opportunities and outcome and lower income. As a result, they often
face welfare dependency ,low self esteemed , and higher level of crime
I worked in an ngo named pehli aasha foundation whose project are mission
“pragati” for poor and under privileged student children and mission “bezubaan”
for suffering animals .
We try to break the cycle of poverty by educating small children and showing them
the correct path in which they can go and achieve success in life and contribute to
nation and society .we also do councelling of such student who have lost their path
and are going toward the wrong path .
The Foundation also get involved in ensuring that children can read, write, and do
math at their grade level. Other activities that may benefit overall
character/personality development and health of the student are also taken care
of
Cause of the problem
Less-educated parents: Wherever parents are not so educated, this also leads to
a lack of knowledge of the importance of education in life. This results in them
not educating their children as well.
Lack of Infrastructure: The educational infrastructure is still not developed in
the way it should have been after so many years of Independence. Due to this,
there are still a lot of people in our country who are not able to access some
education. The government must reach out to the most vulnerable sections of
society.
Poverty: This is both a cause and effect of Illiteracy. There are still millions of
people in India who do not have access to proper food, home, and clothes. They
can not afford to even send their children to schools and are therefore forced
to put them to work in farming activities or any other form of work they have
been in.
Population: The rapid increase in population is also a huge factor that also plays
a role in the increasing rate of Illiteracy in our country. The resources are fewer
and the users consuming them are in great numbers. The poor people think that
if they will have more children then they can send their children to work and
that way they will earn more wages and so instead of educating them they force
them to work.
Objective to be achived
The main objective of our NGO is to provide quality education and health to
needy children physically and mentally. We create a positive environment for
children in which they get motivated and work to gain knowledge not only from
books but also get knowledge about society and their society .we want them to
get out of their poverty and contribute to the society .we provide them with
basic help like scholarship and other thing like cloth and stationary. We also
teach them about their right as student .we also rescue children from child
labour who are indulge in work at such a small age just for money to support
their family .We educate their parents also and teach them about what their
child can achive through education .

Effectivness of project
As I have told you earlier that due to lack of knowledge and money parents
are exploting their children future by not giving them proper education .we
stand for the right of children by giving them proper and free education in
which we motivate them and give them basic needs they need. This is my
first-time experience working as a volunteer in a ngo named Pehli aasha
foundation. Before this project I literally don’t know how a voluntary
organization works and How they manage education of all the children not
only by the means of book but also make their skills develop in vocabulary.
By this project I got an awareness and knowledge about NGOs. I came to
know pehli aasha is an NGO which gives education to all the needy people
and help them improve their lifestyle I really had a great experience while
teaching them. I never forgot those pure smiles on children face when I am
distributing books to them. That incident deeply attached to my heart.By
this project I understood the value of parents also because I feel lucky that
my parents have given me best to best education I need
Conclusion
In past many ngo have changed community life of young people . In india the main
problem is poverty and homelessness. People are living below the poverty line .Childrens
are deprived of basic education have health issue and are not getting proper
food .keeping these challenges in mind PEHLI AASHA FOUNDATION has helped a lot of
children
. nowadays, NGOs are working to help those children. So, they need volunteers’ human
resources. Through the community development project, they are getting help from us.
So, we should contribute something to our community that will make our community and
the entire world literate
. Now a days all are in busy schedule and they are very busy with their own life some
people don’t wants to help and some people wants to help the needy people but they
dont have time for that so it’s better to give certain amount to your near NGOs, they
will help the needy people how much they capable. The capable of helping to needy
people of the NGOs are increased by only donations of the doners. Not only NGOs
responsibility to help the needy people it is all our responsibility to help needy people
because we all are in one society
.Because of awareness program people are coming and donating certain amount of their
capability and some people donated the needy things for the children and also
frequently increasing the doners rate
