MCTRs provides the power amplifying functionality
necessary to transmit bursts from one, or more TX
instances, and the RF reception functionality necessary
to receive bursts by one, or more, RX instances.
MCTR MCTRs are used in DU Radio Node and it is similar to
(Multicarrier the sum of the functionality handled by the
RfBranchTX and RfBranchRX in the Baseband Radio
Trasceiver) Node.
The number of MCTRs that must be configured
depends on the RBB used on the sector.

Troubleshooting approach
1. Confirm Loss and Delays parameters are correct on IDB.
1. Singlemode scenario. Loss and Delay values must be provided by Market
2. Mixedmode scenario. Loss and Delays values must match L1900 or U1900 Attenuation and
Delay parameters.
2. Ask SP to look for loose/damaged cables and connectors.
3. Confirm TMA configuration match devices installed on affected sectors.
4. Confirm with CIQ information that RBB used on IDB is correct
5. If the alarm triggers on a site with AIR antenna, there is s a high possibility that AIR is
faulty
6. If the DUG is using 2 RUS by sector, check that Rx cables are connected between radios.
7. Test swapping lines and hardware.
