Objectives of Social Work
• Creation of a Just and equitable society-socio economic justice.

Objective of Social Work
• To assist individuals , groups and communities to reach the highest
possible degree of Social, mental and physical well being.
• To render help to eliminate Social and physical handicaps.
• To achieve a Social reconstruction of the country /Society for the
development of Socio-economic life.
• To help people make use of resources and capacities for their well being.
• To help in modification of environment for attainment of healthy
interpersonal social relationship.
• To Promote physical, mental and Social health of members of the
Society, for raising of their standard of living.
Objectives of Social work
• To support measures for the elimination of social injustice and poverty in
the society.
• To create an environment for the gradual rehabilitation of weak, infirm,
disabled members of the society through Social services.
• To render assistance to remove / rehabilitate anti-social elements of the
society through Social services.
• To look after the health, education, welfare and recreation of children, who
are being neglected by the family.
• To work for the eradication of social problems, viz crimes, poor health,
beggary, prostitution, delinquency etc by social legislation and community
control, to create social institutions for specific groups.
Objective of Social Work
• To assist in creating awareness for social responsibility through
community participation, for achievement of the social work
objectives.

counselling and leadership development.
