How to use this resource

This resource consists of two parts:

• Explaining the rule

• Practicing and doing exercises (orally or in writing)

Every explanation begins with the examples. Have students

read them aloud and draw their attention to the form and ask
why it is used in this very sentence.
Then press “enter” and the rule will appear. Read it with
students and compare it with their guesses.

Exercises accompany each part of the rule. They can be

done either individually or in pairs. Have students complete
the sentences with missing words and compare the results
with the partner.

After that have them read the sentences aloud and press
