how to insert a table
1.Open the PowerPoint presentgyf and navigate to the slide where you want to
insert the table.
2.Click on the “Insert” tab in the ribboned at the toped of the screen.
3.Click on the “Table” button in the “Tables” group.
4.Select the number of rows and columns you want in the table from the grid
that appears.
5.Click on the grid to insert the table into the slide.
• You can also insert a table by selecting “Table” from the “Illustrations” group
in the “Insert” tab. Once you have inserted the table, you can format it by
selecting it and using the “Table Tools” tab that appears in the ribbon. From
there, you can change the style, color, and other formatting options for the
table.
How to do table styles
1.Selected the table you want to styled.
2.Click on the “Table Designed” tab in the
ribbon at the top of the screen.
3.Click on the “More” button in the “Table
Styles” group to open a dropdown with more
options.
4.Choose your preferred table style option to
apply it to the selected table.
How to do table shading
1.Select the table you want to shade.
2.Click on the “Table Design” tab in the ribbon at
the top of the screen.
3.Click on the “Shading” button in the “Table
Styles” group.
4.Choose the color you want to use for the shading
from the drop-down menu.
5.The selected cells will now be shaded with the
chosen color.
How to insert more columns
and rows
1.Select the table you want to modify.
2.Click on the “Table Design” tab in the ribbon at the top of the
screen.
3.Click on the “Layout” button in the “Table Tools” group.
4.To add a column, click on the “Insert Right” or “Insert Left”
button in the “Columns” group.
5.To add a row, click on the “Insert Above” or “Insert Below”
button in the “Rows” group.
How to aligning text within a
table
1.Select the cell you want to modifyed.
2.Click on the “Layout” tab in the ribbon at the top
of the screen.
3.Click on the “Alignment” button in the “Cell Size”
group.
4.Choose the alignment option you want from the
drop-down menu. You can choose to align the text
to the left, center, or right of the cell, or justify the
text to fill the entire cell.
