What are Social Issues ?

 A Social issue is a problem that


affects many people within a society.
 It is a group of common problems in
present-day society and ones that
many people strive to solve.
 Social issues is the source of a
conflicting opinions on the grounds of
what are perceived as morally
correct or incorrect personal life or
interpersonal social life decisions.
Gender Discriminatio
 Gender discrimination is unequal
or disadvantageous treatment of
an individual or group of
individuals based on gender.
 It arises from differences in
socially constructed gender
roles.
 Gender inequality stems from
distinctions , whether
empirically grounded or socially
constructed.

 Poverty is a state or

or community lacks the
financial resources and

income level from
employment is so low that
basic human meets cannot

 Inadequate access to clean
water and nutritious food.

livelihoods or job….

Corruption
 Corruption is a form of
dishonesty or a criminal offense
which is undertaken by a person
in order to acquire illicit benefits
or abuse power for one’s
personal gain.
 It is an evil way of earning.
 It can be define as the abuse of
entrusted power for private
gain.
Causes of Corruption
 To become rich as quick
as possible .
 Culture , customs and
habits of giving bribe to
get things done.
 Low salary levels.
 Lack of financial rules and
procedures.
 Rapid population and
economic growth.
Solution
o Poverty can be checked by increasing
job opportunities . It will decrease the
rate of unemployment which ultimately
results in decrease of poverty.
o Government should take more steps
towards charity, trusts and have some
transparency while spending money in
those social institutions.
o There is a need for initiatives of paid
leave to the workers.
o Imparting education and knowledge to
children .
o Government will have to take more
steps towards proper enforcement of
labour laws.
o People should stop discrimination
