GMAT

The Graduate Management Admission Test, or GMAT, is an important part of the business school
application process. The GMAT is a multiple-choice, computer-based and computer-adaptive
standardized exam that is often required for admission to graduate business programs (MBA) globally.

The GMAT is developed and administered by test maker GMAC to provide business schools with
common measures of applicants’ preparedness for graduate-level academic work. Business school
admission committees look at your GMAT score, along with work experience, academic record, and
supporting materials, to assess your readiness for the rigors of an MBA program.

Students looking to enroll in undergraduate programs in the US appear for their SAT. Most of
the colleges in the US require SAT for admission to undergraduate courses. Apart from this, many
schools also offer SAT scholarships to students based on their SAT.

Types of SAT
Conducted by the College Board, SAT 1 or more commonly referred to as the Scholastic Assessment Test
is required to be taken by students seeking admission to undergraduate schools. SAT 1 is a general test
that has been developed to evaluate the verbal and mathematical skills of candidates.

Component Time Allotted (minutes) Number of Questions/Tasks

Most of the questions are multiple choice, though some of the math questions ask you to
write in the answer rather than select it. On all questions, there’s no penalty for guessing: if you're not
sure of the answer, it's better to guess than leave the response blank.

SAT Scoring & Duration

When to take the SAT test?

Usually, high school students take the SAT exam to take admission in the
undergraduate (UG) courses abroad. US universities accept SAT and ACT scores to
give admission in UG courses to students who have cleared high school

What is the duration of the Digital SAT test 2023?

The SAT exam is a 2 hours and 14 minutes long test.

How is the DSAT test scored?

All test questions are scored as correct or incorrect. Students won’t lose points for
guessing, so they should try to answer every question. The difficulty level and
other qualities of each question— as well as whether the student got the question
right or wrong—are taken into account when calculating a student’s score. No
points are subtracted for incorrect answers or answers left blank. That score is
then converted to the reported score of 200–800.

ACT Scoring

Each section of the ACT (English, Math, Reading, and Science) is scored on a 1 to 36
point scale. The composite score is the average of all four tests, rounded to the nearest
whole number. Students taking the optional writing test will receive a writing score of
that section ranging from 2 to 12. The writing score does not affect the composite score.

ACT test results are typically released within eight weeks of the test administration and
can be viewed online. If you took the ACT with writing, your writing scores will be
posted online as soon as they are ready, which is normally two weeks after your general
scores are out.
Important Dates.

The ACT is conducted only a few times a year from June to July. You do not have the
luxury of selecting an exam date suitable as per your convenience, which is the case
with other exams. You need to plan your exam prep according to these test dates.
These exams are scheduled to suit your application deadlines for the fall semester.
