Introduction
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a strategy and
tool used by businesses to efficiently manage interactions
with current and potential customers.Our project, CRM, is a
lightweight web-based CRM system designed specifically for
small businesses and freelancers to organize leads, manage
contacts, track communication, and improve customer
relationships.It aims to simplify complex CRM tools by
offering an easy-to-use platform with essential features for
growth and engagement.
Objective
The objective of this CRM platform is to provide a
lightweight, cost-effective, and customizable solution for
small to medium businesses to efficiently manage their
customer relationships.This will be achieved by enabling
them to:Handle core CRM functionalities such as
managing leads, contacts, sales pipelines, and
tasks.Implement role-based access control to ensure data
security and appropriate user permissions.Offer a platform
that can scale gradually as their business needs
evolve.Provide user-friendly dashboards with analytics and
insights to support data-driven decision-making.

need for a lightweight, cost-effective, and customizable CRM solution
that can:Handle leads, contacts, sales pipelines, and tasks.Enable role-
based access control.Scale gradually as business requirements grow.
Provide analytics and insights with user-friendly dashboards.
Scope of the project
Customer Data Management:
The system will store and manage detailed customer
profiles including purchase history, preferences, and
contact information.
Order and Interaction Tracking:
Tracks previous orders, returns, support tickets, and
feedback for improving personalized services.
Personalized Marketing:
Enables businesses to send targeted offers, birthday
discounts, and product recommendations based on
customer behavior.

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js are used to build a

admins and customers.
