ABSTRACT
 we are scheming and construct three level elevator
control system and increase its steady state &
stability by using a (PLC) programmable logic
controller
 PLC gives the command to servo drive and servo
drive operates the servo motor to desired floor
 Three LEDs are placed to each floor that’s indicates
the position of the floor

DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
Goal 13: Climate Action
Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
APPLICATIONS
• PLCs optimize elevator operation by managing motor
speeds, reducing idle time, and efficiently coordinating
elevator movement to minimize energy consumption
• PLCs ensure safe elevator operation through precise
control of door mechanisms, emergency stop systems,
and monitoring of critical parameters like speed and load
• PLCs enable intelligent traffic management within
buildings by prioritizing elevator calls based on real-time
demand, traffic patterns, and user preferences
OBJECTIVES &
DELIVERABLES
 PLCs ensure safe operation by managing speed, door
opening/closing, emergency stop functionality, and ensuring the
elevator operates within specified safety limits.
 PLCs optimize elevator movement, minimizing wait times for
passengers and reducing energy consumption by efficient control of
motor speeds and elevator routes.
 PLC-based systems are designed for high reliability, reducing
downtime and maintenance costs through robust control and
monitoring of elevator components.
 PLCs allow for easy customization of elevator behavior based on
building needs, such as adjusting door opening times, floor priority,
and handling special situations like fire alarms or power outages.
CONCLUSIONS
In the modern developed world elevators are becoming more important
with the development of architecture technology. The design of elevator
based control system is more important as it is more essential to perform
the entire task. Ladder diagram programming is selected as it is easy to
program the different PLCs. Different ladder diagram modules are
implemented and Different sensors are configured at different floors to
perform many functions
