1.Computer Repair Technician
A Computer Repair Technician, aka PC Repair Technician, installs,
evaluates, detects, and troubleshoots different types of issues
affecting computer systems or servers or networks. The individual
will diagnose faulty hardware or software of PCs or laptops and
diagnose them. After they identify the problems, they resolve them.
2. Technical Support Specialist
Computer Support Specialists or Help Desk Technicians, these technicians assist
employees in resolving computer-related issues. This position requires both
excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Technical Support Technicians work with organizations, vendors or companies
that provide third-party contract technical support. Whether in-house or
outsourced, the technician provides primary point-of-contact assistance when a
problem arises. Apart from solving complicated issues, technicians create
manuals and other documentation intended to guide users in the use of new
hardware and software. Regardless of client and customer needs, support
technicians should be willing and able to stay abreast of new computing
technologies.
3. Network Architect
Network architects use their backgrounds in networking technology to
assess business and application requirements for phone, data and
internet systems for an organization. This includes planning, designing
and upgrading network installation projects, troubleshooting network
architecture, making recommendations for system enhancements and
maintaining backup, version-control and defense systems. Network
architects help business leaders make informed decisions on network
investments that fit their short and long-term needs.
4. Software Developer
Software developers create software programs that allow users to
perform specific tasks on various devices, such as computers or mobile
devices. They are responsible for the entire development, testing, and
maintenance of software.
Software developers must have the technical creativity required to solve
problems uniquely. They need to be fluent in the computer languages
that are used to write the code for programs.
5. Database Administrator
Database administrators analyze and evaluate the data needs
of users. They develop and improve the data resources used
to store and retrieve critical information.
They need the problem-solving skills of the computer science
major to correct any malfunctions in databases and to modify
systems in line with the evolving needs of users.
6. System Administrator
Systems administrators are responsible for an organization's
network and computer systems. They make sure that the
systems they maintain meet the needs of its users with as little
downtime as possible.
7. Computer Teacher
Computer teachers in universities and other post secondary
educational institutions instruct the next generation toward their
careers in computer technology.
8. Graphic Designer
•Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine
covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication
materials.
•Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including
computer software programs. Adobe's Creative Suite—including
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more—is the standard in the
industry and most employers expect designers to be proficient with
its programs
9. Computer Operator
Computer operators are responsible for the operation of
computer hardware systems and software operations, ensuring
the systems are secure and working efficiently. They must
often troubleshoot problems that occur during operations.
10. Software Tester
Software testers are involved in the quality assurance stage
of software development and deployment.

They conduct automated and manual tests to ensure


the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any
bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets
deployed to everyday users..
