and help others in need.
The Reality of Human Suffering
• Suffering comes in many forms: physical pain,
emotional struggles, loss, and injustice.
• It is part of the human condition and affects all
people regardless of status or faith.
• Understanding suffering helps us grow in
compassion and empathy for others.
Different Types of Suffering
• 1. Physical Suffering – illness, injury, disability
• 2. Emotional Suffering – grief, loneliness,
heartbreak
• 3. Mental Suffering – stress, anxiety, depression
• 4. Spiritual Suffering – feeling distant from God,
crisis of faith
• 5. Social Suffering – discrimination, injustice,
poverty
• 6. Natural Suffering – disasters, accidents,
pandemics
Trusting God’s Love
• Even in suffering, God’s love remains constant.
• Scripture reminds us that God never abandons
His people.
• Trusting God means believing He can bring
good even from difficult situations.
• Examples: Job’s perseverance, Jesus’ sacrifice
on the cross.
The Essence of Social
Responsibility
• Social responsibility is the commitment to act
for the benefit of society.
• It means caring for others, promoting justice,
and protecting the dignity of every person.
• Faith calls us to serve others as an expression
of love for God.

• Matthew 25:40 – 'Whatever you did for one of
the least of these brothers and sisters of mine,
