- Prior knowledge of MAC2601 & MAC2602.
- Basic financial accounting and tax knowledge.
• Purpose
- Explain, describe and apply certain newer costing and management
accounting techniques that are suited to the modern business
environment.
- Discuss various project management principles and apply selected
tools and techniques.

• 2 Compulsory assessments, one MCQ (25%) – due date 11 September
2025 and one discussion-not all section to be marked (75%) – due
date 30 September = your year mark counting 20% towards your final
mark
• Must write and submit at least one to be admitted to the exam
• One examination
• Final Mark = 20% year mark plus 80% exam mark
• Obtain at least 40% in the exam for the year mark to count
