Porting Process of number portability
MCHA sends a request to donor Operator (DNO) for approval of the NP request DNO approves the Porting (if the subcriber was active in the DNO for at least 90 days, No Pending invoice, and no legal/vigilance cases) , after intimating Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) if the number is under Lawful Interception(LI) . (Must Have a nodal Officer for this) The MCHA schedules the porting Process and intimates both DNO and RNO of the date and time of porting. The billing system carries out the requests automatically.
