Java Date setTime() Method

Description

The Java Date setTime(long time) method sets this Date to show time milliseconds after January 1, 1970 00:00:00 GMT.

Setting Date Based on Time Elapsed Since January 1, 1970 00:00:00 GMT Example

The following example shows the usage of Java Date setTime() method. We're creating a date instance and using setTime() we've updated the date by setting 10000 ms after 1970. The updated date is printed.
