The BBC Sport website is published in two editions - one for the UK and the other a World edition. First time users of the site will be asked to choose an edition based on their geographical location. In this way we can offer more relevant sports coverage to our audiences.
For UK audiences
If you do choose the UK edition, you will find greater prominence is given to UK-wide sports stories and features.
Remember, the UK edition also includes our full coverage of sport from outside the UK too.
World Edition
Similarly, international sport is given greater visibility in the world edition and reaching coverage of events from around the globe will be simpler.
So will accessing the news and sport in languages other than English on the BBC World Service website.
And, of course, all the UK news will also be in the world edition.
Changing editions
All the sports news, features, analysis and audio/video content we produce is available in both editions.
But if you want to change editions - for instance if you would rather have the World edition even though you live in the UK - that is simplicity itself and takes only two mouse clicks.
Select the link at the top left hand side of the Sport banner.
