I am an esteemed fiction and nonfiction writer, writing mentor, and Director of StorySALOON, a live show and podcast dedicated to promoting the best of contemporary Australian short stories. I'm a current Visiting Fellow (remote), Centre for Cultural and Creative Research, University of Canberra.
My publications include novels, anthologies radio plays, essays, short stories and opinion pieces. My scholarly research and publications have focused on work life, mothering as work, and literary representations of mothering; and secular German Jewish history, especially as it relates to British Mandate Palestine, Israel and the Palestinian Territories.
I live and work in Sydney on unceded Gadigal and Wangal land. (she/her)
