To submit listings, bookmark tools, or access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using:

• Google OAuth authentication
• Email-based authentication (magic link)

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring that your account information is accurate and up-to-date

You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction to create an account. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

4.1 Submission Requirements

When submitting a listing, you must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your tool or service. You are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have the right to submit the listing and it does not infringe on any third-party rights
• The website URL you provide is valid and accessible
• Your listing complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• You have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses

4.2 Free Listings

Free listings require backlink verification. By choosing a free listing, you agree to:

• Place the Uno Directory badge on your website in a visible location (typically in the footer, sidebar, or about page)
• Maintain the badge on your website for as long as your listing remains active
• Allow us to verify the presence of the badge on your website through automated or manual verification
• Not remove the badge without notifying us at [email protected], which may result in listing removal
• Ensure the badge is properly displayed and not hidden, obscured, or made invisible through CSS or other methods

If you change your website URL after verification, you must re-verify the backlink for the new URL before your listing can be submitted or remain active. Failure to maintain the backlink may result in your listing being removed or suspended until the backlink is restored.

We reserve the right to periodically verify backlinks. If we cannot verify the backlink, we will notify you via email. If the backlink is not restored within 7 days of notification, your listing may be removed.

4.3 Paid Listings

Paid listings require a one-time payment processed through our payment provider (Polar). By choosing a paid listing, you agree to:

• Pay the required fee as displayed at the time of submission
• Provide accurate payment information, including billing address and payment method details
• Understand that payments are non-refundable once your listing is live, except as required by law or at our sole discretion
• Comply with our payment provider's (Polar) terms and conditions
• Understand that paid listings do not require backlink verification
• Acknowledge that payment does not guarantee listing approval - we reserve the right to reject paid listings that violate our content guidelines
• Accept that if your paid listing is rejected for policy violations, refunds will be issued at our discretion

4.4 Listing Approval and Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review, approve, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion
• Edit listing information for clarity, accuracy, or compliance purposes
• Require additional information or verification before approving a listing
• Remove listings that violate these Terms or our content guidelines
• Place listings under review for quality assurance purposes
• Request additional documentation or proof of legitimacy for certain listings
• Feature or highlight certain listings based on quality, relevance, or other factors

Listing approval times may vary. We typically review submissions within 1-3 business days, but this is not guaranteed. If your listing is rejected, you will receive an email notification with the reason for rejection. You may resubmit your listing after addressing the issues identified.

4.5 Duplicate Listings

Each website may only be listed once on Uno Directory. If you attempt to submit a website that is already listed, your submission will be rejected. We use website URL normalization to detect duplicates.

4.6 Listing Edits and Updates

You may edit your listing at any time through your profile page. You are responsible for keeping your listing information current and accurate. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from outdated or inaccurate listing information.

When you edit your listing:

• Changes may be subject to review before being published
• Significant changes (such as website URL changes) may require re-verification for free listings
• We reserve the right to reject edits that violate our content guidelines
• Edits that substantially change the nature of your listing may be treated as a new submission

You agree not to submit, post, or transmit any content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable

• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code

You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit to Uno Directory, including but not limited to listing descriptions, images, and other materials. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display, reproduce, and distribute your content on Uno Directory
• Modify your content for formatting, display, or technical purposes
• Use your content for promotional and marketing purposes related to Uno Directory
• Create derivative works for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service

6.2 Uno Directory Content

All content on Uno Directory, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Uno Directory or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written consent
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our Service without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our Service

For paid listings, the following terms apply:

• Payment Processing: Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider (Polar). You agree to comply with their terms and conditions.
• Payment Amount: The payment amount for paid listings is displayed at the time of submission and may be subject to change.
• Non-Refundable: Once a paid listing is live, payments are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion.
• Payment Failure: If payment fails, your listing will not be created or activated. You may retry the payment process.
• Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees associated with your payment.
• Currency: All payments are processed in the currency specified at the time of payment.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect listings that have already been paid for and activated.

7.1 Refund Policy

Refunds for paid listings are generally not available once a listing is live. However, we may issue refunds in the following circumstances:

• If your listing is rejected due to our error or a technical issue on our part
• If you cancel your listing before it goes live (subject to processing fees)
• As required by applicable consumer protection laws
• At our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances

7.2 Payment Disputes

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uno Directory and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
