ok thank god there’s so many fucking videos showing you how to do a ladder stitch like it’s some kind of magic trick but here’s the actual use case for it: closing a seam you can’t reach the inside of. in all other cases, if you’re fixing a ripped seam on pants, or on a tshirt, the ladder stitch is a messy, glorified running stitch.

Essential plush making technique, this one! Very good video, a lot of tutorials are kinda hard to parse for me.

i do think anyone that tries to comprehend the interest behind women who want to watch men get kinda gay and like distill it down to one particular impulse or political circumstance or whatever is doomed to fail to ask why women are fujoshis is like asking why people are horny you simply cannot say one particular reason but i do find it really interesting everyone when pressed settles on this freedom from misogyny equality situation thing because its like so patently untrue….. i mean its a popular niche but its got a broader range than just m/m material like equality kink is something one can engage with from m/m m/f and f/f angles but people remain erotically obsessed with power like on first blush you might assume most kirk/spock material would fall into the equality kink landscape since they are like colleagues that deeply respect each other and view each other as bonded and equals despite the difference in rank and whatever but in fact many people are just as fascinated with breaking that equality i guess and instead have extreme power imbalances placed in spaces of equality and like see men who had been equal have one of them like break the other man or one of them goes thru some kind of harrowing torture or is suddenly extreme and violent all the material of a bodice ripper just with men and people come at that interest both from places of extreme baseline power imbalance be that age rank social standing class race etc or from a place of equality and watching that get broken down and destroyed before built back up like its a many varied thing and also i simply dont get why people love to say women want to experience a world without misogyny when honestly half the time id say they actually want to see men go thru shit usually reserved for women which is interesting i frankly find the misogyny free universe concept intellectually dishonest and like both pretends that women are damaged creatures that cannot look upon their own oppression as well as not really honestly describing the content and material of a lot of m/m stories popular in the fujoshisphere and it drives me crazy how easily its accepted like everyone knows about omegaverse these days like theyre literally inventing worlds where men experience violent misogyny for womens pleasure i think we need to dig into this and yet its barely examined whats up with that
