    Moon's Surface at Reiner Gamma

    This photo, taken by Lunar Orbiter in 1966, shows a lunar swirl: pale streaks on the Moon's surface where the magnetic field is anomalously high. This particular lunar swirl is Reiner Gamma, located on the Moon's nearside. The field of view in this photo is about 70 miles wide.
