Altayskiy Rayon

Altayskiy Rayon is one of rayons of Altayskiy Kray.

The Rayon has 10 Village Councils: Ayskiy, Altayskiy, Belovskiy, Kuyaganskiy, Kuyachinskiy, Makar'evskiy, Nizhnekamenskiy, Proletarskiy, Rossoshinskiy, and Starobelokurikhinskiy village council. None of the have any official symbols, as far as I know.

Flag

Altayskiy County in Altayskiy Territory got its first flag. The County Assembly of Deputies adopted its coat of arms and flag on 26.08.2025.

A rectangular cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3, on which is reproduced the composition from the coat of arms of the Altayskiy Territory, executed with the heraldic silver, gold, azure, and gules replaced by white, yellow, light blue, and red colors, respectively.

In a gules field, above a silver and azure crossed end, completed with waves running to the right (*), there is a green mountain with a raised and snow-covered silver summit, burdened with a golden head of a deer (maral) right, with antlers on top of the mountain and with black eyes and the tip of the nose, while the deer's head is accompanied on the right by a golden flower of Asiatic globeflower (with stem and leaves), and on the left by a golden bunch of three ears of grain.

Tourism logo

Altayskiy rayon has a logo, adopted for touristic purposes. As part of the implementation of the program "Development of tourism in the Altai region for 2015-2020", the department for tourism, business development and market infrastructure of the Administration of the Altai region in 2015 held a competition to create a pictorial and verbal designation "Tourist brand of the Altai region". According to the organizers, the competition was held among schoolchildren in three stages. Danila Merkulev from School No. 2 with the slogan "Altai District - Territory of Health" was recognized as the winner in the nomination "Best Slogan". In the "Logo" nomination for participation in the competition, students of school No. 1,2 and Aiskaya secondary school were awarded with letters of thanks and souvenirs. The winner in the Logo nomination was not chosen, but part of each work of the schoolchildren was included in a single layout created by the designer Tamara Kamneva. The brand's logo is a map of the Altai region, painted in four colors - yellow, blue, pink, green, symbolizing 4 seasons, 4 seasons of recreation and tourism. In the center there is an image of a maral - a symbol of health and longevity. Three mountains in the background - three ridges: Anuisky, Cherginsky, Seminsky, within the boundaries of which the district is located. Below are branded organic products that the area is famous for: cheese, honey, grapes, fish. The tent symbolizes rest. Elements of corporate identity emphasize the purity and environmental friendliness of the nature of the Altai region. The blue line (under the slogan) is the Katun River and other numerous rivers, reservoirs of the region. Pink flowers - maral, growing on the territory of the district ", - said in the department of tourism, The slogan “Altai region - territory of health” expresses the main essence of the brand: “Altai region” is a territory with a well-developed tourist infrastructure, pristine nature, ecologically clean products - a territory where you can relax and improve your health.
