'Whose side are you on?' MP attacks government over China spy case
Former security minister Tom Tugendhat has attacked the government's handling of the collapsed China spy trial involving his ex-researcher Chris Cash.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) dropped the case into Mr Cash and his associate Chris Berry after deciding the evidence did not show China was a threat to national security.
Tugendhat told the House of Commons the government had not done enough to help the CPS build its case, shouting: "Well, who the hell's side are you on?"
