Alfred Fiechter OBITUARY

Alfred ‘Red’ Fiechter, 84, of Saugerties, NY, passed away on September 14, 2025. Born June 9, 1941, in Brooklyn to Alfred and Josephine (Alleva) Fiechter, he was the beloved husband of Anna (Healy) Fiechter for 38 years. Those mourning his loss include his wife Anna; daughter Christine Fiechter and son-in-law Gary ‘Kal’ Klein; grandsons Benjamin and Jackson Mergendahl; ‘extra daughter’ Louise Holland; former son-in-law and his wife Bill and Maricar Mergendahl; brothers Herman (Carol) and Richard Fiechter; sister-in-law Margaret Chiusano; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents. His Funeral Service will be held 2 pm Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
