With Loving Memory

08/21/1945 – 09/13/2025

(80), was a loving husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle, and friend. Shortly after moving to Henrico, Virginia in January, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor after becoming suddenly ill. Jim passed away peacefully and painlessly on September 13, 2025 at his home. Throughout his lifetime, Jim always loved to ‘play in the dirt’. He owned and operated his own business as an Excavator and enjoyed working with his associates. Raised in Woodstock, NY, he was a lifetime member of the Woodstock Fire Department Company #1. He worked hard and enjoyed traveling, especially in with the RV. Jim was always available whenever needed most, and ready to help out day or night. The family asks that you take a quiet moment to say a prayer that he ‘Rests in Peace’ and remember Jim for the gentleman he was. There will be no services held at Jim’s request.
