Louise A. Clark, 97, of Ulster Park, NY, died peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025. She was born December 23, 1927, in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Angelo and Louise Naccarato Altomari. Louise was the wife of the late Frederick H. Clark, who died May 30, 2005. Louise was employed by IBM in Poughkeepsie and Kingston until her retirement in 1985. Prior to that, she had worked at Skyline, Sprague Electric and Hercules. She attended Presentation Church in Port Ewen and had been a member of the Town of Esopus Senior Citizens. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and playing cards. Louise is survived by her loving children, Shirley Saccoman and her husband, Thomas R., of Southington, CT, Frederick Clark and his wife, Donna, of Rifton, NY and Dianna Reynolds and her husband, Bruce, of Shokan, NY; one sister, Carol Van Kleeck of the Town of Ulster, and one brother, Michael Altomari of FL; six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Fred, she was predeceased by her great-grandson, Pearson Reynolds; four sisters, Dolores Cafaldo, Theresa Dachenhausen, Bernice Jurkowski and Barbara Bruno; two brothers, Angelo (Bobby) Altomari and Joseph Altomari. Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Kingston, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Town of Esopus Volunteer Ambulance Squad, P.O. Box 910, Port Ewen, NY 12466 or Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, 80 Washington Street, Suite 204, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 in memory of Louise.
