Hello my amazing friends !
Today we celebrate an orange day at Color my world daily. Since we want to include everyone in this celebration: lets invite Mr. Lemon to celebrate with us. And if tightrope walking on an orange background doesn't scream "celebration" for you, I wonder what does ?
And now, I have the song "Celebration" from Cool and the Gang playing outlaid in my head (www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GwjfUFyY6M).
Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !
Boldly patterned, rather chunky sparrow of humid evergreen forest and edge in tropical lowlands. Usually on or near the ground in shady understory and thickets; often in pairs. Bright orange bill virtually glows in the dark; also note the bold black-and-white head pattern and black chest setting off the white throat. No similar species in its lowland range.

Orange-crowned Warbler ~ (Vermivora celata)
My first opportunity to get a decent shot of this species! Every now and again I bump into one of theses less common overwintering birds.
Thanks for visiting!
The EJ&E Huuuritage unit leads B758 across the Lake Wabamun Causeway on CN's Edson Sub. DJI's recent software update didn't play nice with my drone, causing some back focusing issues on this day, once again proving nothing is easy!

I don't often get the chance to photograph these butterflies. They are constantly on the move and hardly ever land.
I was very lucky with this one.....except I didn't have my macro lens with me !
…… Another garden shot today for my #158 photo on the day, a Rose gets to be my shot of the day. Taken on my Phone in Apple RAW & edited in Lightroom. I was rather pleased with the side/back sunlight here. Alan:-)

Small orange chrysanthemums. I very like them :)
Chrysanthemums, often called mums or chrysanths, are of the genus Chrysanthemum constituting approximately 30 species of perennial flowering plants in the family Asteraceae which is native to Asia and northeastern Europe. Chrysanthemums were first cultivated in China as a flowering herb as far back as the 15th century BC. The flower was brought to Europe in the 17th century. Modern chrysanthemums are much more showy than their wild relatives. The flowers occur in various forms, and can be daisy-like, decorative, pompons or buttons. This genus contains many hybrids and thousands of cultivars developed for horticultural purposes. In some countries of Europe (e.g., France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Croatia), chrysanthemums are symbolic of death and are only used for funerals or on graves - similarly, in China, Japan and Korea, white chrysanthemums are symbolic of lamentation and/or grief. In some other countries, it represents honesty. In the United States, the flower is usually regarded as positive and cheerful. In Australia, traditionally the chrysanthemum is given to mothers for mother's day as the flower is naturally in season during Autumn. The chrysanthemum is also the flower of November.

Małe pomarańczowe chryzantemki. Prawda, że ładne? :)
Złocień, chryzantema (Chrysanthemum) – rodzaj roślin należący do rodziny astrowatych.

Warblers have been migrating through my yard. They are feeding high in willow trees so they are difficult to see let along photograph. I have probably taken 200 shots of Orange-crowned Warblers and got half dozen or less that I will let anyone see. Most have been deleted. IMG_6328
I like orange and blue together,
but I would never wear them.
