"Couldn't do it without Airtable"

What do you like best about Airtable?

Airtable has allowed my team to achieve unprecedented alignment across multiple verticals, and to gain new depth of insight into our content creation process. We use it daily and simply couldn't coordinate effectively without it. One thing that's especially great is that it easily allows for a range of engagement types -- there are folks who just use it as a source of truth, and others who manage their entire workflow with it, and it's flexible to accommodate both. What do you dislike about Airtable?

To get the most value out of Airtable, it helps to have a dedicated internal resource -- while I've found it easy to implement, it's not exactly plug-and-play for our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Airtable?

(+) Visual interface - Clients love the streamlined work.

(+) Easily generated reports

(+) Keeps me organized

(+) Ability to between bases and between tables is great

What do you dislike about Airtable?

(-) Interfaces are not universally sharable with non-Airtable users; limits utility of the product. Why would I create an interface for people already on my account. I want to be able to report to clients and customers without making them sign up or pay for a subscription.

(-) VERY confusing permissions structure. And it seems I need to go 10 layers deep to find and change permissions. None of the language is consistent.

(-) I feel like I'm being fleeced - I keep getting charged for every person who interacts with my workspaces. Downgrading users takes up valuable admin time,

(-) Very difficult to find all of my forms in one place.

(-) Formulas and calculations are too simplified.

(-) Cannot integrate with Outlook. As a quasi-CRM, Airtable sucks.

(-) Although I prefer Airtable's UI, Smartsheet is a cheaper and more useful tool.

(-) No customer service/support. Having to rely only on community users for support is awful, considering the amount of money I pay.
