What I like best about Keap is how it brings everything together in one place—CRM, email marketing, automation, and payments. The automation workflows are incredibly powerful yet easy to set up, which saves me hours each week. I especially appreciate how simple it is to track leads, follow up automatically, and move contacts through different pipelines without anything slipping through the cracks.

The integration between contact records and email sequences is seamless, so I can personalize communication at scale while still making each client feel valued. What do you dislike about Thryv?

When contacting their support team, you have to teach them how to do what it is you're trying to do that is broken and they ALWAYS have to escalate it to a higher support member and get back to you. So my emails get bounced. 5% bounce rate. Really annoying when your paying $159 usd a month on an anual plan and the main feature of sending email doesn't work even properly. Let alone good.

really unhappy with using keap. I've been on support 5 times to fix a couple issues with contacts getting sent the same email mutliple times. I've spent 2 hours on support and no one can fix the issue. since then, ive got spam complaints because i thought the support fixed the issue but people keep recieving the same emails. Thryv from, the beginning has been super helpful! From when I first started to now, I have had so many things that Thryv has helped with. I love that I am able to have an account feature on my website and patients find it easy to use. It's easy scheduling and easy to manage. What do you dislike about Thryv?

I wish that it could have an inventory section to help with seeing what's being used per job (patient) and what needs to be restocked. I wish I could create some forms for patients to sign or something I can create to attach what was done with a patient (more detailed and easier to use other than adding an internal note). Thryv customer service has been very slow to respond and address our concerns. We have had our social campaign on pause for the last 4 months reaching out to the customer service staff for a solution without any resolve. We also raised several concerns about our messaging and inbox feature with thryv throughout 2024 only to discover in January of 2025 that they released a new version of the software that addressed our concerns but was only immediately available to their newer clients. We have been loyal customers since 2021 paying out bill on time while being allowed to operate with old outdated versions of thryv while newer customers who signed up 12 months ago got immediate access to features that we have been asking the customer service department for. Even after paying substantially for training, it's complicated. So many features missing like ability to use emoji in message & subject line, and really get your communications reflecting your brand. We are paying a lot for KEAP monthly already, and them paying for extra add ons to external companies (such as gospiffy) to be able customise and brand certain aspects. Makes for an expensive monthly platform. Keap should provide much more in terms of personalisation for branding etc.

What do you like best about Thryv?

What is most helpful about thryv to me is the convenience of being able to integrate it into my daily workflow. The ease of being able to communicate with potential clients and manage my calendar all in one place allows me to use thryv very frequently. Furhtermore, due to the simple UI it is easy to coach coworkers who are less familiar with the product, making it easy to implement. Not only that, the one time we had an issue their customer service team was more than helpful in resolving that. Overall, due to the sheer number of features, ability to use it for nearly every task I ask of it, and wonderfully simple UI which makes integrating it so easy, I would recommend Thryv to anyone. The only downside I have noticed about using Thryv, is that it had an issue where it would switch the addresses around to a different address for each of my clients when I would enter a new one. Keap provides a flexible and dynamic product that helps small businesses capitalize on marketing automation to remove the time-consuming tasks that we all have. Because of the flexible nature - I used 2 seperate applications - one for my events company and one for my digital agency. Since there are many redundant tasks and processes with events - booking speakers, reminders to speakers, attendees etc, I found that Keap helped me stay on track and on task so that I could focus on the really important stuff - like ticket sales. As a past systems integrator with many years of marketing experience, I find Keap has the right balance of technical power and ease of use. The downside of using Thryv is the fact that I have clients that need to be invoiced monthly. I have to personally go into each account and make up an invoice every single month, which is very time consuming. My clients for the most part are billed the same amount every month. Thryv does not allow you to do auto billing unless you subscribe to their merchant service account. I have requested a change to this downside of the software, but the issue still has not been resolved.
