What I like most about Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage is the price. It is almost 10 times lower than the competition and offers practically the same features. Additionally, it offers large amounts of immutable storage at a very competitive price. Basically, it delivers on what it promises.

Once it is installed, it quietly backs up everything in the background without needing constant attention or technical know-how. I point to a drive or a folder, and that's pretty much it. I became a customer in 2017 after moving away from the CrashPlan situation, and Backblaze immediately felt like a breath of fresh air. The interface is clear, no java hogging my computer resources, the setup takes only a few minutes, and the service does exactly what it promises. The biggest upside for me is peace of mind. Backblaze makes it easy to trust that my files are safe. I never have to wonder if something is being missed or if my backup is out of date. The date and time in system settings always had that displayed, so basically it's integrated in the mac OS settings. It handles large amounts of data without any issues, and it has been reliable for me for years. The combination of simplicity, stability, and predictable performance is what keeps me with Backblaze on a daily basis. Personal and work files safely backed up, sleeping soundly. Their customer support is always ready to help, and I even find answers to questions I didn't know I had on their Reddit, with brianwski and especially YevP who I think is not even working with the company, is actively responding to any issues and questions.

I used Backblaze for several years to maintain backups of my MacBook Pro. It was easy to install and use. It could be set to automatically backup, or manual. I used the latter, and backed it up incrementally weekly, and full backup monthly.
