Dormitories & Accommodation
On June 2009, International University of Sarajevo opened its first Campus dormitory building that can accommodate 220 male students. In 2010, dormitory for female students was opened as well. There are rooms with two and five-beds. Each room has its own bathroom and most of them have their own study space.
Wireless Internet connection is provided for the students at the whole Campus area. Students can also rent apartments in the city if they wish to do so. The university administration can advise students about accommodation.

Mehmet Çakır - Female Dormitory
Mehmet Cakir Female Dormitory is located on the campus of International University of Sarajevo within the walking distance of the university. Since 2010, we are providing service to our students during their academic life with the knowledge that the success is a result of well-established physical and psychosocial atmosphere. With this in mind our stuff is considering the students’ comfort as a first priority for their prosperity.
Mehmet Cakir Female Dormitory is a quadruplex building with the capacity of 159 students and consisting of 51 rooms which are organized as 16 double, 15 triple(separate sleeping and study room), 18 quadruple (separate sleeping and study room) and 2 five people (separate sleeping and study room) occupancy rooms.
The dormitory has full-time security guards which are supported by both indoor and outdoor surveillance camera system. To provide in room security, students have their own personal keys.

Dear students,
Mavi Kelebek Men’s Student Dormitory began its operations in the 2009/2010 academic year. As a part of the Ilim Yayma Cemiyeti, which has extensive experience in student dormitory management since 1951, it continues its activities in Sarajevo.
About us
Our dormitory administrators are dedicated and professional individuals with many years of experience. The Mavi Kelebek Team works diligently to ensure that our students lead a healthy, comfortable, and successful life. Our team consists of:
✔ Dormitory administrators,
✔ Accounting and finance officers,
✔ Cleaning staff,
✔ Breakfast service team,
✔ Technical personnel, and other specialists in various fields.
All of our staff are aware of their responsibilities and work diligently to provide the highest quality of service. As the Mavi Kelebek Team, we see creating a safe and happy environment for our students as our primary mission. “Our goal is to contribute to the development of our country by raising individuals who embrace, protect, and enhance national, moral, religious, spiritual, and cultural values, and who love their homeland and nation.”
Accommodation Information
Our dormitory is located on the campus of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), within walking distance from the university. We offer VIP two‐person rooms, as well as three, four, and five‐person room options. The three, four, and five‐person rooms include the following amenities:

Application Process
🏠 All students who accept our dormitory rules can apply for accommodation. However, due to our limited capacity, we are unable to accept all applications.
📝 Student selection is conducted through in‐person or WhatsApp/ZOOM video interviews after evaluating the applications. During these interviews, both the student’s profile is understood, and detailed information about our dormitory is shared through an orientation session.
