Welcome to New Music Friday, your one place to discover the biggest new song, album and DVD releases.
Let's start with this week's stack of singles.
Chappell Roan returns with The Subway, a song she first performed live more than a year ago, back in June 2024. Could it become her fifth UK Top 5 single?
Demi Lovato is also back with Fast, the house-flavoured lead single from her upcoming ninth studio album. She'll be hoping to notch her 14th UK Top 40 entry.
Scottish rock icons Biffy Clyro continue to trail their upcoming 10th studio album Futique with latest single Hunting Season.
Enduring pop queen Louise drops Only Dancer, a bop from her Top 10 album Confessions, while Guildford-born rising star Henry Moodie shares his latest single sunday morning.
There are new tunes, too, from boyband bop merchants Absnt Mind (Simpatico), LA pop-rockers LANY (Know You Naked) and Reading indie-poppers Only The Poets (Guess She's Cool).
XngHan&Xoul – a new project spearheared by XngHan, a former member of K-pop boyband RIIZE – release debut solo single Waste No Time, an uptempo carpe diem anthem.
And last but not least, Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze shares Love Like This, the second single from his first English-language album Prema, due in September.
Now, let's move onto this week's albums release slate.
Back in August 2023, Cian Ducrot stormed straight to Number 1 with his debut album Victory. Can the Cork-born singer-songwriter do the same with his follow-up LP, Little Dreaming?
The legendary Roger Waters releases This Is Not a Drill: Live from Prague, a live album recorded in Czech Republic's capital city in May 2023. He'll be hoping to add to his tally of five Top 10 albums.
Straight-talking pop queen Reneé Rapp drops BITE ME, the follow-up to her 2023 debut Snow Angel, which peaked at Number 7. Can she make it two Top 10 albums in a row?
And finally, Sheffield legend Richard Hawley releases a 20th anniversary deluxe edition of his fourth album, Coles Corner, which originally peaked at Number 37 in 2005.

Last week you had a decent proportion of Auz/NZ artists to everyone else.
This week is THE WORST PROPORTION EVER.
A lot of these are completely unheard of outside of Aus/NZ and are going to fail to chart, regardless of whether they are any good or not.
If you put the effort into finding new releases from the UK, that you seem to put into finding new releases from Aus/NZ, maybe the UK charts would be better. And maybe also this disproportionate flogging of artists from 'down under' wouldn't be so bad.
