Atlas now incorporates one in five Delaware corporations, giving us visibility into how quickly founders generate revenue, how they structure teams, and how many countries and customers they reach in their first months. We analyzed data from the 80,000 Atlas startups and discovered that founders launched more companies and generated revenue faster than ever before in 2025. See our findings: https://lnkd.in/ggEBBtpr.

Tacit is a new mini-docuseries from Stripe Press. In the first two episodes of Tacit we follow two masters of disparate worlds: Fingal Ferguson, a fifth-generation knifemaker in West Cork, Ireland, and Christophe Laudamiel, a master perfumer in New York City. Tacit explores how their mastery develops through repetition and proximity—and why it matters in an age of automation. These films show what machines still struggle to replicate: judgment shaped by experience, care, and embodied understanding. Watch the first two films: https://lnkd.in/g57vnAuN.

We started Stripe Capital because SMBs told us that access to financing was the #1 thing blocking them from growing. So now that we've been around a while, it's relevant to ask: is Stripe Capital actually driving more revenue growth for SMBs? We just wrapped up a randomized trial and the answer is an emphatic yes. We found a strong causal relationship between accepting financing through Stripe Capital and revenue growth on Stripe, as SMBs put these funds towards launching new product lines, acquiring inventory, and hiring more employees. This is especially exciting for platforms, because it means that by embedding capital into your product, you help your users grow faster and unlock a new revenue stream at the same time. Read more about our study here, and reach out if you're interested in building Capital!

*TL;DR: We taught AI agents how to shop. It turns out, they just needed the right API.* Over my almost 7 years at Stripe, I’ve worked across fraud, ML, and payments. I've seen us build systems that stop billions in fraud with transformer models and orchestrate complex money movement for platforms. Now, as we close out 2025, I can add new modes of commerce to this list. When the concept of "agentic commerce" entered the scene with AI agents acting as buyers on behalf of humans, we realized the foundations Stripe had built made us ready for this moment. The challenge was massive. You have a "many-to-many" problem: thousands of sellers wanting to be discoverable by dozens of emerging AI agents), and agents needing a reliable way to transact without building custom integrations for every store. This is where all our previous work converged to make shipping the *Agentic Commerce Suite* last week possible: 1️⃣ *The trust layer*: In an ecosystem where AI agents will soon place orders at massive scale, the risk of interacting with fraudulent sellers or bad actors explodes. This is where the heavy lifting we’ve done on our risk foundations became the critical unlock. We onboard merchants every day, running them through rigorous KYC checks and continuous monitoring to ensure they are legitimate businesses. Because we’ve already validated the seller, the agent doesn't need to be a detective. We are helping agents scale by abstracting away the verification burden, ensuring the counterparty is a real, good-standing business before the agent even initiates a call. 2️⃣ *The catalog*: Sellers can now sync their product catalogs directly to Stripe, and we syndicate that real-time data (inventory, pricing) to the agents. We solved the discovery problem by building a bridge between the seller's inventory and the agent's brain. 3️⃣ *The transaction*: We didn't want agents to just "link out" to a payment page; we wanted the transaction to happen *in context*. We built "Delegated Checkout Sessions," an API that allows an orchestrator (the agent) to initiate a secure checkout on behalf of a seller. It uses the same rigorous compliance, tax, and fraud rails (like Radar) we’ve spent years perfecting, but adapted for a programmatic buyer. 4️⃣ *The standard*: We co-developed the Agentic Commerce Protocol to standardize how these intents are communicated. It solves the N+1 integration problem, allowing agents and sellers to speak a common language for search, inventory, and checkout without needing custom pipes for every connection. In summary, we effectively built a translation layer: We took the "semantic" intent of an AI agent ("buy me a medium blurple shirt") and mapped it to the rigorous, deterministic world of global payments. Looking ahead to 2026, we have much more in store. We are bootstrapping a network where any agent can buy from any seller, instantly. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g-TBDXkK.

Vercel has scaled to $200 million ARR and sees 4.3 million weekly SDK downloads. CEO and founder Guillermo Rauch joins Stripe’s Emily Glassberg Sands to discuss how AI is reshaping deployment decisions and procurement processes, his framework for “progressive complexity disclosure”, and how natural language has become the new programming primitive. "English is becoming the next hot programming language... For us, it means that we can take that pool of people that are in the creator category from 20 million to 500 million."
