Shut Up & Write!® in [LONDON /WIMBLEDON]
**Coworking for writers in your area!** Join us for some focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in your area. When you show up, say hello to everyone, grab a drink, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. Once everyone’s arrived, I will lead quick introductions and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session. Afterward, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries! **A note about the format** We don’t host critiques or readings. These events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work on their craft, so no one will read or critique your writing. ‘Pam Gregory Astrology’ Local Luton Study Group Weekly Sunday drop-in
‘Pam Gregory Astrology’ Local Luton Study Group This weekly drop in group is a supportive space for anyone studying (or planning to study) Pam Gregory’s astrology courses and teachings. The group collaborates in person in Luton at The Green Lotus Lounge (online attendance also welcome) We come together to deepen our understanding of astrology using Pam Gregory’s video tutorials. Sharing and supporting collaborative study & learning to apply astrology as a “profound & sacred language of geometry” guiding our personal & professional development, our spiritual awakening, and the evolution of human consciousness. “*In these current times (the profoundly shifting sands)of global socio-political-economic and spiritual changes: I have applied Pam Gregory’s Astrology updates and tutorials to navigate through 2024 and 2025 supporting my personal, spiritual and professional development. Without this weekly stability and framework I can honestly say that I probably would have collapsed into a messy, scared, dysfunctional blob”* This year 2026 heralds a significant shift for humanity. The Year of the Fire Horse comes galloping: let’s ride the stallion together (you don't have to do this alone) Our sessions are collaborative and reflective, offering space to discuss course material, share insights, ask questions, and explore how Pam’s work applies to our own charts, lives, and the collective energies. Absolute beginners and professional astrologers all welcome. No experience or prior knowledge is necessary but if you have some expertise do come along and share it (you are welcome to use the group as an opportunity to book 1:1 appointments) What to expect (each weekly 2 hour session we will) : • use Pam Gregories video tutorials as study material applying planetary aspects to houses within our individual birth charts (impacting personal & professional relationships, spiritual growth and even our finances) • Share reflections on current astrological transits (how they affect global events and our individual daily lives) • Recap on some astrology basics; and deep dive into some profound, esoteric, spiritual and galactic discussions (in a respectful, and open-hearted learning environment) • This is an opportunity to connect with like-minded souls on a similar path (you don’t have to do this on your own) This group is ideal for those who resonate with astrology as a spiritual language and who value conscious dialogue, curiosity, and mutual support. You don’t need to be an expert astrologer—just an interest in learning, listening, and exploring together. Whether you’re new to Pam’s work or already immersed in her teachings, you are very welcome. Please note this is a paid event. £5.55 per week cash on the door (I haven’t yet upgraded to ticketing) Cost covers: * some downloaded course materials; * warmth, hugs, tea and refreshments; * ticketing and Zoom subscription costs (if you are joining us online) Please note this is a collaborative safe space study group circle not a taught workshop class (Pam Gregory will not be joining us live in person)

Coffee Chats: Have The Young (Under 35s) Become Really Boring?
Coffee Chats: Have The Young (Under 35s) Become Really Boring?
Time is precious. Here we value non-boring valuable chats and interactions that are fully engaging, soulfully enriching, inspiring, and leave you a bit wiser than when you arrived. In that spirit, today’s hosted laid back social coffee chat will offer a perfect haven for the inquisitive & curious to share views on the following intriguing observation. Growing up in the west - before the 2020s - Friday and Saturday nights meant going out with your mates for fun to enjoy music, dancing, drinking, eating, comedy, singing, fun silly moments and random conversations (and sometimes much more) with strangers you'd meet out and about 100% naturally. Taking drugs even. Tuesdays and Thursdays was for doing the same stuff but with work collegues hence the workplace was a place to make new lifelong friends. Weekend daytimes were for doing healthier but socially fun stuff like playing sports, pub lunches, visting galleries/museums, theatre and watching movies together at the Cinema or around a mate's house. Fast‑forward 2026 - it feels like everything changed: Despite public transport running all night (it wasn't when I was in my teens/early 20s yet my peer group stayed out proper late most weekends) - on a Sat night "young" people head home at 10pm, skip the dance floor for board games in the pub, avoid bar banter, jokes and rarely engage in organic spontaneous chats with strangers. Whatsmore the stats are wild — data show virginity rates among men hitting record highs by age 30, social anxiety and social skills off-the charts. So what's happened? We’ll explore questions like: * Is this just nostalgia talking, or has something genuinely shifted? * Why has typical multi generational fun pastimes (1950s to 2010s) lost its spark for the 20‑somethings? * How much does health, economics, mobile phones, social media and gaming explain the trend? * Are certain professions (like tech/IT) changing the social landscape, or just attracting already‑very introverted people? * Why are some stats so **contradictory**? Think higher reported male virginity rates by 30 alongside rising STI rates in young people. Despite tanking alcohol sales - UK alcohol related death rates per capita are still rising. What's going on? * Target audience demographics for commericial music radio stations (Capital, Kiss etc) is still 18 to 24 suggesting young people still consume music and other popular culture but are not going out to enjoy it. Why? * Is it harder for younger people to make genuine friends today and if so why? * Dancing is natural to all of us - every kid moves instinctively to music. So beyond a less joyous social life what happens when these innate behaviours get suppressed as adults? What has this healthy exercise and creative expression been replaced with? * AI is predicted to take over technical job and tasks - the most future‑proof skills will be things like interpersonal skills & emotional intelligence built through real‑world socialising. Employers already complain that young people lack these skills. How will they get non-AI jobs? * Levels of emotional intelligence and self-awareness - particularly amongst men - are at an all time low. Wiill social anxiety worsen further as the introversion trend accelerates? * What does all this mean for dating, relationships, and starting families? Expect lively debate, sharp humour, and a host (a former news journalist) that isn’t afraid to ask awkward questions. Bring your curiosity, your stories, and your caffeine tolerance — we’ll stir the coffee pot on whether the young have really become more boring or have they’re just discovered new fun activities - if so what are they? And if you are in your 20s - I would love to hear your views! Lucas - The alcoholic 3am Eternal singing break-dancing geriatric

Hampstead Heath Spiritual Gathering & Walk
Hampstead Heath Spiritual Gathering & Walk
Our 40th Spiritual Creatives gathering - in person! Come and join us for a lovely walk and talk around Hampstead Heath. We are meeting just outside Hampstead Heath station (London Overground train) at 11.00 on Sunday the 25th of January. Please note: This is NOT Hampstead Station on the Northern Line! It is the Hampstead HEATH station. The Google link is here: [https://goo.gl/maps/AJCNoxkKNj6K9Gp77](https://goo.gl/maps/AJCNoxkKNj6K9Gp77) We will wait for people to arrive until 11.15am and then we will begin walking. If you arrive later, you will only be able to catch up with us at Kenwood House approximately between 12 and 12.30pm. You should be able to find us sitting around as a group having a drink. If the weather permits, you'll find us outside the main café, towards the back. Look for the guy with the multicoloured scarf... that's me! After a short break of 20-30 minutes, we then walk back through the Heath, taking the long way round to Parliament Hill, and conclude our stroll back to Hampstead Heath overground station around 2 to 2.30pm. (Please note that you may become so involved in your conversations that you end up losing sight of the main group! Unfortunately, there is no way for you to catch up with us once we have become separated (and we do NOT check our phones for texts or messages during our walk) so please be mindful and conscious to stay with the main group if you want to keep up. Also please bear in mind that Hampstead Heath can be muddy sometimes, so please wear the appropriate shoes). After returning to Hampstead Heath Overground station, many of our (usually hungry) members like to continue the camaraderie over lunch at one of the local cafés or restaurants. As our group has grown over the years, these gatherings can be quite large, so we usually have to split into smaller parties and explore different venues. Some of our favourite spots are Dominique’s Café (dominiquescafe.co.uk) and Silverberries (silverberry.net), both of which offer a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. It’s a great way to wind down the walk and continue our conversations. Spiritual Creatives is a warm-hearted and popular meetup group, as you can see from our ratings and comments! We hope to meet you then! :-) Best wishes Cliff **Find out more about us at [https://www.spiritualarts.org.uk](https://www.spiritualarts.org.uk/).**

London Krishnamurti Dinner & Dialogue
London Krishnamurti Dinner & Dialogue
Our Meetup is open to everyone and anyone interested in self knowledge, self awareness, relationship and discovering a totally new way of living. Here, together over supper, we talk about everyday life topics, in an atmosphere of attentive listening, sensitivity, kindness, openness and friendship. **WHAT TO EXPECT** * This group meets up TWICE MONTHLY to talk over and explore life topics together; such as Fear, Conditioning, Belief, Desire, Attachment etc... * The approach for our investigation is inspired by 20th Century (non religious/ non political) revolutionary thinker, J Krishnamurti. * The atmosphere for our dialogue is relaxed, openminded, serious, compassionate, fun and friendly. * We learn through direct observation, self discovery and careful listening to each other, rather than through already acquired experience or knowledge. **WHO'S IT FOR** * Those wishing to explore deeper issues of everyday life and relationship, in a non therapeutic, non religious but friendly atmosphere. * Those interested in the thinking of J. Krishnamurti, but this is NOT a prerequisite. * Those interested in meeting new like-minded friends. * Those feeling stuck, at a crossroads, or wishing to delve deeper. * All nationalities, cultures and backgrounds welcome. * All ages & diversity welcome. **WHAT HAPPENS AT THE MEETUP** * Our sessions won’t have any fixed theme; we will spontaneously raise a topic at the restaurant. Sometimes we may wish to investigate further into a topic: we can suggest a short K video that we can all view prior to the following weekly session together. * The mood is challenging but non-confrontational, investigative but non-intellectual, contemplative but non-religious and especially serious but also good fun! **NO FEES OR DUES** * We pay for our own meal at the restaurant * There is no charge for the organisation * You can [donate to OPEN DOOR](https://open-door-worldwide.com/donate/) if you appreciate this initiative. **ABOUT OUR GROUP** * This event is organised by [OPEN DOOR](https://open-door-worldwide.com) * OPEN DOOR is a non profit making organisation * Run by [Jackie McInley](https://open-door-worldwide.com/about/) **OTHER SIMILAR EVENTS** * [PLEASE VISIT HERE FOR MORE DIALOGUE & SELF-INQUIRY EVENTS](https://open-door-worldwide.com/events/) **ABOUT J. Krishnamurti Inspired Sunday Dialogue
Krishnamurti Inspired Sunday Dialogue
**Here we meet up outside of the restaurant setting, in a beautiful room at the Tibetan Buddhist Centre in London. The quiet venue is helpful for perhaps a greater deep dive and attention to our topic.** Together we shall be exploring some of the themes that Krishnamurti is proposing but, more importantly, that we ourselves are facing in our everyday life. Krishnamurti is showing us what he sees about human conditioning and the lack or freedom and love that dominates existence. Our inquiry is to see this conditioning for ourselves and to bring about fundamental change. ### **Dialogue Dates For 2026** * Sunday 11th January * Sunday 8th February * Sunday 8th March * Sunday 12th April * Sunday 10th May * Sunday date in June awaiting confirmation * SORRY THE CENTRE IS CLOSED DURING JULY & AUGUST * Sunday 13th September * Sunday 11th October * Sunday 8th November * Sunday 13th December **The Dialogue** As we sit together and exchange on these unresolved topics of life, we will be confronted with the living limitations of our relationships in the group. What is real listening to each other or is my listening and attention already conditioned? What is real inquiry and can we think together during our dialogue? ### **Refreshments** Do come early and have a cup of tea with friends here at the Tibetan Buddhist Cafe on the premises. You can also go and sit in the little garden outside or relax in the lovely library for more private informal dialogues between participants. I will be present at the premises cafe for pre dialogue get togethers: (please contact me if you want me to be there at a specific time...) ### **Contribution Price for the Dialogue** There will be a cost of £10 per dialogue per person to cover the hiring of the room, thank you **[FOR FURTHER INFO ON THIS EVENTS & OTHERS VISIT HERE](https://open-door-worldwide.com/event/krishnamurti-inspired-group-dialogue-buddhist-temple-london/)**
